Delhi handled a traffic of 26.5 million this year. How about Dhaka? Is it at least 5 million?

Kindly share the capacity. Delhi is being developed to handle 100 million passengers a year. How big is Dhaka's? If not that big then I would have to say bad economics.

I only compared it because 'Sami' contended Dhaka airport is going to cost more than three times Delhi airport. Now shouldn't the traffic be three times that of Delhi as well. Or it would be badly concept-ed project. Economically disaster.

Also India has several major international airports. Its not like all Indians would go through Delhi to abroad. What about Bangladesh? They would have to go through Dhaka, don't they?

are you simply nuts???? 1200 million = 1.2 billion, thats the whole population of INDIA, not Delhi.....idiot.............and delhi has the biggest NCR (national capital region) by area in the whole world...just do some research in wiki.

but if you see statistics, dhaka has more population density than delhi.......delhi has a total area of 33676 sq km along with NCR.......whereas dhaka is around 2000 sq km....so both cities can be compared.....
