Then, there's this:
Biden: I may have relatives in India

Joe Biden wonders if he can run for office in India.
Speaking Wednesday at the stock exchange in Mumbai, Vice President Biden said he wanted to go "off script" to talk about a letter he received shortly after his election to the U.S. Senate in 1972.
"I received a letter from a gentleman named Biden -- Biden, my name -- from Mumbai, asserting that we were related," Biden said to laughter. "Seriously."
The letter writer told Biden that one of their ancestors worked for the British East India trading company back in the 1700s, and wound up in the city then known as Bombay.
Alas, Biden said he never checked out his alleged Indian connection.
"So I was thinking about it -- if that's true, I might run here in India for office," Biden mused. "I might be qualified."
The veep added that, after this latest trip to India, "I'm going to follow up to find out whether there is a Biden and whether we're related. I hope he's in good standing if we are."
