Proof of Indian Muslim, Christian and Communist MP slavery to the US

lolz.. its not as bad its made out to be... they did not ask to interfere within India, they just wanted not to give visa(which is US prerogative). What if US congressmen asked the same from Indian authorities(signed a document), will it be that wrong.

.
Next when Modi will become primeminister then these same MPs will write to Obama\Arabs\China\EU to attack India and liberate them from evil Modi.

What a bunch of traitors.. Mir Jaafers of India

They are not requesting US not to issue visa to any Indian...but an elected representative of the people of this country.

so what. Tell me will you be this outraged if senators requested indian authorities by signing a letter. If anything its an interference on internal working of USA, but not a big deal.

I don't think there is any precedence for this case so as to do comparison and draw conclusion.

It is worse than it is made out to be. Why should elected members of the Indian parliament beseech the head of a foreign government to do something for political reasons, especially if the image of India is humiliated in the process? Ordinary citizens could have done that, it would still have been in bad taste but tolerable. Asking a foreign government to "punish" a fellow Indian politician is despicable especially when the routes of law are available to them in India to prosecute Modi if they want. These, after all, are legislators. Narendra Modi faces no sanctions from any legal body in India, it is stupid & despicable for the members of the Indian parliament to seek sanctions from a foreign country on one of their own who faces no such sanction in India. What next? Some BJP members writing to the U.S./European countries against other parliamentarians asking for a denial of visa because those members are involved in "corruption" & "loot", no matter that nothing has been proved? Maybe members of the opposition writing such letters against Sonia Gandhi, maybe the PM & council of ministers? Where will the madness stop then? Would Muslim MP's tolerate it if BJP/SS MP's wrote to the U.S. authorities to deny them visa because they are suspected "terrorists"? After all, no sanction of law is deemed necessary in this case. Good for the goose, good for the gander?

Gujarat is an internal affair of India? Opening it up is dangerous, bordering on the retarded. After all, it need not stop at Gujarat.......

Am sure Americans will be outraged at that. As it will make them look spineless and make it look like they don't have faith on their own system and judiciary.

At first glance it looks like a list of signatures of 65 MPs. But it is actually a list of 64 MPs(first row blank), and even in this list of 64, three names are duplicated.

DMK MP AA Jinnah figures at no.11 in RS list and no.6 in LS list.List one entry five is equal to list five entry 24. He is some MP from West Bengal. (Imagine ............Indian muslims have elected someone named Jinnah into parliament  )

Then LS MP Sharifuddin Shariq appears both in LS(3) and RS(13) lists.

Here is the full SHAME LIST ....

Expected better from the Indian American Muslim Council, looks like it was a copy paste hack job.

Either that or the MP were misled into signing something they weren't aware of or the MP have started to back track now to avoid the backlash

More MPs claim signatures forged on letter to Barack Obama against Narendra Modi visa | NDTV.com

BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said that "more than half of the MPs (who are signatories) have denied writing such a letter. It is important to catch those who forged signatures.

Mohammed Adeeb, a member of the Rajya Sabha, insists that the letter is authentic. He alleged that MPs like Mr Yechury are bending to pressure from their parties to disclaim the note. Professing that he welcomes an inquiry, he said,"Anyone found guilty of cheating colleagues should be punished and removed from parliament.

during the next Parliament session whoever of these bastards are confirmed to have signed this petition should not only be expelled but banned from contesting Parliamentary elections ever again
make an example out of this one

CBI Enquiry now on how they forged the signatures, TRAITORS...

Expect a clean chit then

Either case this have backfired for them, if the CBI says signature were forged then they ll be tried and if they say they weren't then the hypocrites like Sitaram Yechury(who vehemently opposed America-India nuclear deal) will stand exposed infront of the public.

Modi must be laughing his as* off.

I don't buy this forgery excuse. Too convenient. Shameless chaps.

It is almost unthinkable that Indian lawmakers would appeal to the United States to take a stand on an internal matter. Most Indian politicians, many of whom still nurse a Cold War-era suspicion of Washington, would bristle at the very thought of it.

It couldn’t have been easy, then, for 65 members of India’s parliament to fax a letter to President Obama on Sunday requesting that his government not grant a visa to the controversial Hindu nationalist politician Narendra Modi, the chief minister of the state of Gujarat. The lawmakers had sent the same letter last year as well.

Have our MPs let down the nation?

Two letters written by 65 Members of Parliament to the United States President Barack Obama urging him to continue the existing stand of his government on denying a US visa to Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi is clearly an action which is indefensible. The MPs, with due respect to them, have acted beyond their jurisdiction and have also undermined India’s sovereignty. They have in fact tried to take an internal matter of the country to another country and have violated the constitution by looking for solutions outside the ambit of law and rules of the Indian state.

The letters have invited even adverse comments in the American media. The Washington Post has said that it was “unthinkable” that an internal issue of India was being taken to the US. Many of these MPs in the past have condemned the US “invasion” of Iraq and Afghanistan and have often termed the US policies as anti-Islamic. Now in a sudden change of stand, most probably out of political expediency, they want Obama’s intervention in a matter, which is the sole discretion of the US government.
