Featured Project Azm: Pakistan's Ambitious Quest to Develop 5th Generation Military Technologies.

What is our intelligence doing? We should have moles in every major company in the US. Thats how the Chinese get their tech parity. We need infiltration, not cooperaton.

Your post are irrelevant to this thread and this thread only discuss project AZM THE 5TH GEN AIRCRAFT
NOT OTHER RELATED SYSTEM LIKE MALE UCAV

SO FIRST READ THE FORUM RULES AND THEN POST DUDE
Here is the first post of the thread.

Project AZM is an umbrella projects for 5th generation military technologies including UAVs. Now unless the pinned post forbids the discussion about UAVs and other smart systems, which it does not, this is a relevant topic to the thread as per the forum rules.
Read the forum rules again, or better yet get yourself an English tutor, you fucking untermench.

and you think what? moles and spying is easy and cheap?

the us is spending like 70+ billion dollars on its spy networks not including black budgets and you gotta sustain it, it takes years even decades to get a single mole into a high-ish position in a rival nation. then all that effort could be wipe out overnight by some bad oversight or rival intelligence breakthroughs, see what happened to the CIA china intelligence network in around 2012.

i dont think pakistan can afford to spend 10 times more money on intelligence than its entire defence spending and sustain it for a decade+.

J-35 nears mass production

I'll say it again j-31/J-35 is the best option for PAF 5th generation fighter program...:pakistan::china:
For near term yes it is but TFX has a better stealth characteristics than J35 and dsi on J35 limits its performance will not have the capability of supercruise and above Mach 2 top speed whereas TFX will have supercruise and top speed of Mach 2 and above, so I think TFX is a better option than J35

This is the only option & both China & Turkey are our closes friend & brother Countries but we already experience what happened with T-129 deal because of US engines & on the other hand China have no problems like that & we can modify them as our requirements with TOT with the passage of time witch was not a big issue & we already have great working experience with China in JF-17 project...

Yes brother you're right but Turkey is developing its own engine for TFX in long term we should get TFX, j35 is a medium weight jet can't carry much internally but TFX will be the heavy multirole jet

I think we should go for j35 in near term ( before 2030) and then TFX after 2030

Major problem with TFX for Pakistan is the powerplant. Pakistan will likely not be able to get F110... Pakistan needs ITAR Free systems, especially for strategic assets, and im not sure the Eurojet derivative Rolls Royce was supposed to develop with Turkey would be a viable solution unless Turkeh gets full rights to build and sell without UK involvement.

There won't be any export limitations for TFX. Production won't be with F110. There will be an indigenous engine.

That being said, the plane didn't even fly yet, there's a long road ahead

More importantly can we sell the damn thing? All that money spent on development. And also what about any non-military uses. Maybe fire extinguishing or slow flight search/rescue. Maybe spy or counter spy espionage.

I hate the idea of planes just being developed for bombing and combat. Wish they had more roles to full fill...
