Professionalism of the Indian Army : 1971 WAR

Did your army participate in rape and murder of bengali civilians or not ?

mujib himselt inorder to find actual figures made two committees but never released the result because only 57000 killed were identified. he also wrote a book and exposed the lies.
1)indian origon sarmilabose reject bengalis claims. She think 50000 to 100000 people died from all sides.

2) professor Gary J. bass of princeton university, in his book quoted an indian official figure of 300000 and foreign minister swaran singh quickly making it 1 million.(2 million less than bengalis propaganda)

i can give u dozens of such references from people around the world.

can you give me one proof of such genocides? like 3 million killed. No because it is only mujeebs made up figure. Every investigated journalist have rejected these claims.

real war crimes by bengalis:
https://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/2011/05/20115983958114219.html

56000 soldiers. 25000 injured, 3500 killed. 22000 paramilitary and police against 500k indian soldiers, 400k mukti bahini and still fought for 13 days with all supplies cut, no airforce or navy, hostile population, traitors every where.

Niazi lying while East Pakistan was overrun by Indian Army. He says " No surrender. Will fight to the last man"

in such situations he though more about his men.
he surrendered to keep his men safe. 25000 of his men were already injured.

I agree his ultimate surrender was the professional thing to do. False Bravado would have led to them being wiped out.

Don't digress from the question asked, you claimed, Pakistan army didn't participate in killings, all the Bengalis were either killed in action or were collateral damage.

I just showed you the video of Pakistan army machine gunning civilians at point blank range, who have their hand tied behind their backs . What do you claim that is, collateral damage or killed in action ?

According to the Indian sources, 5K IA men died while camouflaging like the Mukti Bahini terrorists and doing terrorism inside the East Pak in 1971...

In fact, the India generals were pressurizing Indira for an open war for too many of their men were dying in the covert terrorist war...

Indeed professionals in state sponsored terrorism in the neighboring countries - Pak, BD, SL, Afganistan etc....

We handed them back 93000 of their soldiers and protected them from Bengali Retribution. They should accept and acknowledge the professionalism of the Indian Army.

Which source, post it here.

“34. Even more painful than the military failures of lt. Gen Niazi is the story of the abject manner in which he agreed to sign the surrender document laying down arms to the so-called joint-command of India and Mukti Bahini, to be present at the Airport to receive the victorious Indian General Aurora, to present a guard of honour to the Indian General, and then to participate in the public surrender ceremony at the Race Course, to the everlasting shame of Pakistan and its Armed forces. Even if he had been obliged to surrender, by force of circumstances, it was not necessary for him to behave in this shameful manner at every step of the process of surrender. The detailed accounts which have been given before the commission by those who had the misfortune of witnessing these events, leave no doubt that Lt. Gen. Niazi had suffered a complete moral collapse during the closing phases of the war.”

I think you intend to wipe off history from your memory but that will not stop it from existing. Learn from it.

Look at the Indian Army's Professionalism. You should appreciate it and thank us.

The professionalism of the Muslim armies in India has been shown throughout history, when we didn't wipe out all the Indians despite ruling over many of them for hundreds of years. Just look at India now! It has one of the world's largest populations, if we weren't so professional this wouldn't be the case!

It's pretty difficult to wipe out a population when most of the country was only barely under your control for less than a century. Even in North India, where Muslims rule was strongest, Muslim rule lasted about 5 centuries, which is not too long in the context of Indian history. 500 years rule is not enough to wipe out a 10000 year civilization, unless the people choose to submit to their conquerers like modern Pakistanis did(and there is nothing wrong with that)

As for the topic... both sides fought bravely and professionally. I still respect the Pakistani soldiers for their bravery even though they lost. All the genocide, HR violations, etc. is the fault of the government and higher ups, not the common soldiers.

We didn't wipe out Indians? Who are we dude? The Muslim Invaders raped your ancestors and you are a product of it. Have some shame and atleast think of your ancestors who surrendered before the Invaders and converted so that they don't get killed, you owe them a lot.

That is a rather touchy subject for him as he believes he is descended from those invaders and that they were assimilated among his ancestors. There could be some element of truth to that, and we should respect his belief. It is perfectly fine that he identifies more with the invaders than his land's indigenous culture. we should not lecture them about the actions of their ancestors and simply feel pride that our civilization was too powerful and advanced to fall to the Abrahamic civilizations of the Mughals and British.
