‘Professional CEO can run Pakistan Steel efficiently’

.
All the federal/provincial owned corporations must be privatized, I am not interested to pay the salaries and welfare of the haramkhoors sitting in these corporations. Govt should focus only on providing public services (also try that to outsource where ever possible), law and order, ensuring competitive business environment and collecting taxes.

Mashallah like father like son :-) All in the family. They are honest corrupt personality !
Go and tell this to idiot Asad umar who don't agree with you and showing confidence in Hussain nawaz competence.

PSM is a lost cause, even if you bring in foreign CEOs and Consultants with experience they wouldn't be able to do anything.

No political party or the unions will allow them the ability to remove workers or end pensions. The 2 root causes to PSM's ills.

If they are given the ability to do what is required without interference or sabotage, I would look at the resumes of every worker when he/she got their job (working & retired), if their qualifications at the time of employment applications didn't match up with their occupation they received they're removed, revoke their pensions, and perks (housing, education, health) they receive from the PSM.

Whoever is left the best are kept the others, those fired at a working age (35-50) receive 45% of their salaries/ health/ education for their children for 4 years as severance.

Agreements are made with local Universities from which the PSM will organize coursework for future prospective employees. PSM & the Universities will also organize for professionals for the coursework to come to the Universities to teach.

Land which is underutilized will be leased to automotive manufacturers and for the construction of separate power plants for electric consumption of the PSM itself.

Don't poke your own words in Asad umar mouth. He has been making this statements since last one year.

Do not open your mouth you are letting everyone know how stupid you are

I know haha such an extreme moron, he couldn't even pick up Asad Umar's sarcastic jab at Hussain Nawaz.

He's your typical PML-N supporter. Uneducated, moronic and most importantly a slave. Now worshiping Hussain Nawaz.

they might sell it 34$ below production rate, for now. once you shut down ur mill, they may demand rate as per their wish

Yes I agree...A competent and honest person with due authority can easily alter the fate of Pakistan steels. Steel mills can never ever be in loss as long as human civilisation exists as far as the basic business model is concerned.
Pakistan steel mills is a hallmark of corruption and a dumping ground for political / ethnic appointments... this over burden of extra and incompetent and dishonest miscreants and corrupt management are responsible for the loss of Pakistan steel mills.

Pakistan steel mill is a battle ground of different political partis mainly MQM and PPP and all hiring is done based on political affiliation..the political mafia extends inside the enterprise in form of worker union...until this politicization does not end..no one can run PSM !

Then Sindh goverment should buy and it run it on their own resources. No need to waste federal budget on PSM. As soon as PPP toke over railways, PIA and PSM all started making huge losses.

"He said Boa Steel Group was ready to acquire PSM prior to Sindh government's jumping into it on the condition that they would retain required employees, adding that they can be approached again if the company is allowed to rationalise employees' strength."
