What's new

Privileged to be British.

She is not Queen but a daughter of my corrupt servant of the state of Pakistan.
Which is why I said queen in waiting. I mean Bilawal or Maryam are just king and queen in the waiting. Sooner or later they will be back in power and buying apartments in London. In UK we have House of Windsor or the present ruling dynasty that queen belongs to. In Pakistan there is House of Sharif's or House of Bhuttos. All own expensive apartments or palaces in London.

So you tell me the queen I am loyal to has provided me with every opportunity it could. Best schools, best hospitals, best services, best security and a passport that opens doors across the globe. And my sterling pound gets smiles in bazaars of Istanbul to bazaars in Lahore.

The royalty you are forced to be loyal to only plunder the corrupt proceeds and then buy palaces in London. Keep that in mind.

Chotay chotay log choti choti khushiyan......Glad to see a loyal brown servant of the queen.
This same queen's system - destroyed your last King, and severed the heads of his sons before placing them to him. Sad on any people with Pak background who feel obligated or indebted to this criminal imperial enterprise. Till the UK apologizes for what it did and pays repatriation to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh we should never forgive or forget.

my take is that once they finished colonizing and brainwashing third world to imitate them under Rothschild bank and monetary slavery with devalued fraud currency when compared to western nation. This in turn forced or persuaded migrants to migrate for better economic reasons and then you get loyalty to queen. it is psychological thing.

UK should apologise but not for this ridiculous list of reasons you have posted. UK should apologise for giving the world India, nothing else.

Regarding OP, Britain did well. Basically out of danger now but mutations are the next threat that needs dealing with.

I understand that UK has already acted and ordered Pfizer boosters for this eventuality.

UK does science based decision making rather well.

what a kiddish post
Not so for the 10,000s who have lost their lives. My mum and dad at 83 and 84 got theirs in Dec 2020. My dad has been on dialysis for last 4 years. I am 100% sure if he had not got the jab by now he would have got infected and not survived. So I don't consider these "kiddish". I have been seeing reports of people gasping for air in India with screaming relatives pulling their hair in desperation.

And if you got it and feel smug about it shows your privilage. What about the other 200 million Pakistani's? You probably jumped the line and paid for it. Whereas what I was appreciating on this thread was not that I jumped the line but that more than half of UK has been vaccinated. It began with 80 plus back in December and then sequentially in order rolled down the most vulnerable groups.
I understand that UK has already acted and ordered Pfizer boosters for this eventuality.
Yes. The country is pretty well now protected as you will know. The concern is by end of this year and winter another variant might break the vaccine wall we have all got now. This is where the Pfizer booster is being prepared so we will get these later in the year to pre-empt any variant coming back.

Good for you !

Your father made the right choice hence you and your children have reaped the benfits.

Educated Pakistanis need to make sure that if they have an opportunity, they should take it and give their children a better and a more secure future.

I got my first dose of Pfizer 2 days ago. Privileged to be a Pakistani and thanks to King Salman.

have to say UK has done very well in its vaccination drive .

However many thousands of black and brown persons died needlessly when covid gripped Uk ,due to the deep bedded institutional racism over there it showcased to the world if your brown or black you are treated like 3rd class citizen in life as well as death.

“COVID-19 has placed ethnic inequities in health outcomes in sharp focus. Of the first 100 NHS clinical staff to die of the disease, 60 were from a Black, Asian or minority ethnic background, despite the fact that overall only 20% of NHS staff are from these backgrounds.

We identified clear differences in outcome according to ethnic background. Black and Asian patients were respectively 30% and 49% more likely to die within 30 days of hospital admission compared to patients from white backgrounds of a similar age and baseline health. Black patients were 80% and Asian patients 54% more likely to be admitted to intensive care and need invasive mechanical ventilation.

When we accounted for the role played by underlying health conditions, lifestyle, and demographic factors, this did not alter the increased risk of death in Black and Asian populations.”

I wouldn’t feel proud but dismayed hurt and angry knowing the state values my life less valuable and not equal to a fellow citizen because of the colour of my skin .

shame really .

How are vaccine drive going in your neck of the woods. Have your parents been given the shot?

yes they have had it and my mum sister and her husband. my mum was ill from it pains. scary story: my rich uncle died from corona virus and this guy was wealthy which i cannot believe he did not have private - fast track healthcare in place.
my neighbors old father died too and this guy was in good health and only eat clean food and he would secretly go to the farm and slaughter chickens himself to take home. the virus killed healthy ppl but in opinion spared the weaker ones.

They f-d up track and trace because they privatised it, but the NHS managed the vaccinations and did an excellent job.
