The question was about Pakistan, since both the OP and the subject are Pakistanis , maybe we can stick to that. India hasnt had a Muslim PM but it has had a Sikh and Parsi PM. We have had Muslim and Sikh Presidents. Christian, Sikh and Parsi COASes.

I think it's pretty clear to rule pak you have to be a zardari or a shariff, anything else in between tends to be an experiment which doesn't last long. Zardari and shariffs main religion is $$$.
