The Rise of the Desis: Pak-Origin Humza Yousaf to Lead Scotland | Vantage with Palki Sharma

If you ignore his ethnicity, the fact that a 37-year-old man with absolutely no experience in private sector or civil service is the best Scotsman to lead a nation does sound unusual. His main claim to fame is he successfully shepherded a bill that would allow biological men to use women's bathroom. It is the same feeling many may feel if told that 34-year Bhutto-Zardari (with no notable experience or achievement in private or public sector) is the finest Pakistani leader to run the country. Or even that the 70-year-old former cricketer with no experience in anything besides cricket (and politics) is the messiah to take Pakistan to promised land.
You forgot to add in a 70 something chai waala whose claim to fame was being the butcher of Gujrat

He has been involved in SNP politics for quite a while now

I find being a muslim political leader in a non-muslim majority country a tricky balancing act, you have to support and implement law which is for the majority in this case non-muslim Scottish majority and in many cases laws and customs which could go against your own moral and religious teachings.
That is the essence of being a successful politician. That you represent the views of your constituents and not yours. In that sense, Yousaf is an admirable man. He successfully pushed to get the Marriage and Civil Partnership (Scotland) Act 2014 passed though he may not support it personally.

This is why I couldn't be a politician and wouldn't make a good one either.

His people seem to like him for whatever reason. IK couldn't even keep his cats herded for a term.

Indian nationalists, hindutvadis to secular educated class hatred for British Raj trickling into abhoring the Britain en bloc is full of hypocrisiy and about changing stances at their advantage.

There are dozens of Indian English media reporting how England syphoned 45 trillion USD from India in todays worth, how Gandhi jee is an English agent, and what not.

The partition of their supposedly Akhand Bharat is hurting them big time.

Most likely Indian larping as a white American.
Subhuman vermin. They have mental retardation wanting to be associated with Pakistanis at all cost. Same goes for the Bengalis too.
If I have suspicious of a members background, I avoid interacting with them. The older Indians from 2011s seem to be decent members and don’t hide their flags.

How about you go f**k yourself Indian.

Muslim leaders praise Forbes and snub Yousaf in SNP contest statement

Something to think about, is it really worth selling ones morals and beliefs to achieve a position in life.

After reading that article i got great respect for ex Finance Secretary Ms Forbes who was not scared to tell the truth how she saw it rather than selling her morals and beliefs short to get the leadership position.

That pig would be producing geothermal energy.
He was a man of great vision and how right he was:-
