Prince Turki al-Faisal, the former head of Saudi intelligence and former ambassador to Washington and London, considered that the credibility of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia "is much higher" than that of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

On news of the alleged meeting between Prince Muhammad bin Salman, Crown Prince of the Kingdom, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the Saudi city of Neom, Turki al-Faisal said that “Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan denied this completely, and unfortunately the media follow what is issued from Israel and do not follow what is issued From the kingdom.

He added: "The Kingdom denied this and I believe that the credibility of the Kingdom should be much higher than the credibility of a person like Netanyahu, a person accused in his country of having lied to the Israeli people in several matters, so how can they believe a liar and not believe one honest in all his previous publications.

I've always appreciated the stances of Prince Turki but the problem is he isn't the crown prince so he won't be next in line for the throne and make policy decisions.

What's also strange is the official Saudi response to Qatar wanting better relations with Turkey along with supporting the Muslim Brotherhood's electoral win in Egypt while letting the UAE which betrayed Saudi Arabia in Yemen and on the issue of Palestine just do what it wanted.

Regardless, I would have rather had Prince Turki as the crown prince. His father was a legend and Turki has always demonstrated himself to be a man of honor and principal.

The Saudis seem to be playing a double game; they want the virtue of defending the Palestinians, while at the same time of leading the charge of being Israel's best friend.

I personally don't believe Prince Turki would be the one that is attempting to take the Saudi's that route and who even knows what they're telling him.

This is King Faisal's son and he's always demonstrated himself to be a man of character.

I personally don't believe Prince Turki would be the one that is attempting to take the Saudi's that route and who even knows what they're telling him.

This is King Faisal's son and he's always demonstrated himself to be a man of character.

That's because Saudi Arabia and UAE are in the same boat. When it comes to foreign policy, they're a collective. I have seen it.

During the height of the pandemic, they coordinated with each other to deal with Turkey and just, in anyway possible, try to hurt its economy by barring trade, air routes and so tourism.

It's out of mind to think that Saudi Arabia wasn't consulted by UAE on the Palestinian issue, and that UAE went ahead without Saudi approval.

They want to look holy from outside.

Their strategy is to pursue other Muslim countries to recognize Israel by creating pressure.
