Yes they did all that and are doing that. Regardless a war is not the answer because it involves nukes. No state wants total annihilation and mass graves. Talks are the only way now unless India does something completely ridiculous and as foolish as to trigger a real war.

Never a sane person would ask for war and dialogues are the most human way to resolve any of their conflicts, but the point is we had offered dialogue many times in past and its an old cry with no result, what makes you think that this is right time to have an effective dialogue.

So nothing new then. LOC is the de facto border. Pak and India are technically not at war. Both sides are "talking" to each other. Wagah opens all the time. Cricket matches are played. Yet here we are, still at each other's throats.

As long as Kashmiri people are occupied, there will never be any measure of "real" peace. Despite what Indians like to pretend, this conflict is wholly definable and written in stone.

We can have dialogue on rest of issues, like trade, water, border fortifications, sports, health, entertainment. Kashmir can take a back seat and see how far we go, and when we become best buddies, kashmr wont be a issue really to solve.
