It's not for the city, it's for the few corrupt.

Govt. has already spent millions of work hours on planning how to hurt Pakistan's economy and make profit out of this project.
I can guess... at least 100'000 man hours are spent... and if we assign a cost of $300 to each man hour, corrupt regime has already spent $300'000'000.- without laying a single stone, and this is not informed to public, while lifafa media is paid to keep their mouth shut and tamil tiger force is fed with dog meat biryani so that they bite any one asking for audit and sanity of wasting 75 billion in addition!

Nice going.
Irrespective of political affiliation , however is making any benefit to public is good.

Some people in Govt became billionaire instantly......lols

This picture is total propaganda.... and is meant for the consumption of masses who are not from Rawalpindi.
I doubt, if this picture is from Pakistan!!
Govt. of Pakistan do not provide work clothes to the cheap slaves like labor they use on projects, of course in co-operation with contractor.

When orange train and Lahore waste management was of no public good for the hypocrites ruling Pakistan, then how is it any good to establish colonies on a huge waste water drain, where diseases is abundance, for which state will continue to pay 70billion every year on health expenses.

Only projects which are for public benefit evenly are the mass transit and motor ways, rest is all corruption... business of property.
