As per an American analysis company funded by CIA and Google, PressTV is the most influential non-American news network when it comes to occupy wall street movement.

The Occupy Wall Street protest, inspired in part by uprisings against corrupt power in Egypt and the rest of the Arab world, has in turn inspired protests nationwide and around the globe. International news outlets have been following the American demonstrations closely — often more closely than American media outlets.

Pro-democracy protesters in Egypt marched to the U.S. Embassy in support of Occupy Oakland, in part to attract international attention for their cause by playing up the similarities between the story of Occupy Oakland police brutality victim Scott Olsen and the death of 24-year-old prisoner Essam Ali Atta at the hands of the military junta currently ruling Egypt.

But one nation’s press in particular was an early and enthusiastic driver of OWS coverage: Iran. Recorded Future is a company that performs “predictive analysis” of events by monitoring Internet sources. (Its future-forecasting efforts are funded by both Google and the CIA.) After they made this neat visualization of the international spread of OWS-related demonstrations, Recorded Future analysts noted that according to their interpretation of media links, the biggest non-American media “influencer” in terms of OWS coverage was Iran’s English-language Press TV....

Yes, no western media covers Iran protests and its brutal crackdown due to ban by Iranian authorities but PressTV has a free hand to cover american protests..what an irony!

It is better to check the facts before commenting. Iranian media is banned in US from reporting and the only Iranian journalists are the one residing inside UN building under UN mandate. PressTV only does phone interviews and such and there is no PressTV on the ground due to American ban. Not only this but Iranian journalists are also banned from questioning any US leader. Actually Iran from time to time allows CNN and other American channels to report from Iran and even conduct interviews.

Yes same the saudi's & the Gulf sheikdoms do in there media, trying to show that there is nothing wrong inside there countries, but do propaganda against other's, specially those who are against US.

Now u can see this in how they deal with the Yemen & Bahrain revolution(all the gcc ar sporting both regime's), before that how they dealed with Egypt & Tunis revolution's(Binali is in sudia, they ar now trying to save mubarak also).
