we have not fixed our border properly, we have chit mahals . border treaty is for to fix these things.

we made India-Bangladesh Land Boundary Agreement, 1974. but due to Indian politics, this agreement have not seen the light yet. These involve exchange of land in 111 Indian enclaves in Bangladesh and 51 Bangladeshi enclaves on Indian soil.

Yes, a limited sea-river-land transit has been arranged. But, BD will not give transit via CTG. port unless your Didi Mamata agrees to give us our due Teesta water share.

Lets be honest, you are not going to get what you want.

A water treaty does not serve our purpose..and we will wait and watch as to what comes up in the next 1-2 years before we even think about it.

The border agreement should go through since that is beneficial and will work in concert with our fencing..some of which remains incomplete and needs to be finished and fortified further.

IF its the BJP then there is a high chance that they will leave the transit issue to be fixed through the Kaladan project, that is what it has been designed to do specifically..but it hinges on one particular agreement which remains to be signed.

Your demands for 50/50 water sharing will not come through..that we have already ensured by building 20 plus dams on the Teesta..which will reach completion at the end of this year. AND we aren't exactly going to dismantle our own dams so that's a no go.

You really are not getting this yaara. The Congress wanted real bad to come up with some good measures, to even get an agreement or two in place. The BJP on the other hand is depending on a different strategy altogether..if they compromise it will be the Congress itself which will shoot down any such move serving the log honored tradition of the saboteur opposition.

Try to comprehend that, certain cores issues that the BJP has it ever lets go of, it can leave them on the back-burner but it will never let go of them. The BJP was and remains in favor of waiting for another decade to see the Kaladan project come through rather than bargaining for transit, it remains in favor of leaving any water sharing issues on the side and ambiguous, all of these things apply wrt to the BJP UNLESS a massive change occurs in the equation/ground situation. They are not known to be very accommodating nor are they particularly known for their "diplomacy". As far as they are concerned you are already a threat.

China will certainly release Brahmaputra water almost equally everyday throughout the year because China will produce electricity at the high ground north of occupied Arunachal. Now, do not steal this water please. Let this water come to the BD land.

I second that .... Hasina Begumji is the best for BD and India friendship. Co-operation is the way to go. It is not a bad deal if BD will get 100 MW power in return perpetually for one time transit help.
