President of India’s message on the eve of ‘Day of Russia’

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Russian Federation on the eve of ‘Day of Russia’ (June 12, 2015).

In his message to His Excellency Mr. Vladimir V. Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, I have great pleasure in extending warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and to the Government and people of the Russian Federation on the occasion of the “Day of Russia”.

I was honoured to participate in the commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War and was happy to have the opportunity of wide-ranging discussions with you on our bilateral relations. I would also like to reiterate my deep appreciation for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to me and to my delegation during the visit”.
