The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee in his message on the eve of Milad-un-Nabi has said: -

“On the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of the Holy Prophet, I extend my heartiest greetings and best wishes to all my fellow countrymen, in India and abroad.

May the message of the Holy Prophet, inspire us to work towards universal brotherhood, compassion, tolerance and the well-being of all. Let us on this day recall the life and ideals of Hazrat Mohammed Saheb and re-dedicate ourselves to the service of humanity”.

VIJAYAWADA: The holy relic of Prophet Hazarath Mohammed, housed in a special room of the Jumma Masjid Wakf on Canal Road in One Town, will be open for public viewing from 4.30 p.m on December 12 for the Muslim men and during the same time the next day for Muslim women, according to the manager of the masjid.

Paying respects to the holy relic is part of the celebrations of Meelad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed. The custodian of the masjid, Janab Meer Shah Noor, will open the room.

Vice President Greets People on Milad-un-Nabi

The Vice President of India, Shri M. Hamid Ansari has greeted the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi/Id-E-Milad. In a message, he conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion – celebrated as the Birthday of Prophet Mohammad. The Holy Prophet showed humanity the righteous path of compassion and universal brotherhood, he added.

“I convey my warm greetings and best wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi/Id-E-Milad – celebrated as the Birthday of Prophet Mohammad.

Milad-un-Nabi or Nabi-din is not celebrated by a large number of Muslims in Kerala (Shafite's) and across India now. All thanks to new Arabic teachers who wants Muslims to go as pure as possible with Koran and Hadith's.

I don't know, but my fb wall is full of gory photos shared by Muslim friends of Rohingya Muslims decapitated, tortured and the so called peaceful Buddhists monks with pistols and swords...No Saudia, No Pakistan, No Malaysia or Indonesia saving them. They cry only for Filistine.

Can this happen in RSS dominated North India? Can this kind of secularism acceptable to the slaves of Golwalkar and Savarkar who wants Muslims and Christians to be exterminated from India to lay foundation of Hindu Rashtra? South India should insulate from RSS.

Dude its best that Hindus and Muslims live separately. We can work together, socialize but never live together. Our cultures and way of life are too different. They live with their own personal laws and we live with ours.

But we are all united on one thing- defending our homeland ie India
