The lower circles are lateral thrusters for high accuracy and evading missile defence the other circles I do not know.

has any missile test fire failed this year? we've fired Prithvi Astra Prahar thats all i know we should also test Agni 1 Agni 3 and Shaurya....my fingers are crossed i hope Agni V and Agni 2P test successfully

It is made with just one extra third stage above agni-III but only first stage of Agni-V and Agni-III is same. Second stage is modified second stage of Agni-III. third stage is completely new, it is made up of composites like the second stage of Agni-2P.
