Are you aware of Thunder's and Mirage's combat radius and their ability to carry Stand-off munitions ???

Only Ra'ad ALCM would have a worthwhile effect on decimating strategic points. IAF AWAC and other strategic assets would not let PAF do strike missions deep in to India ( as far as pune).

Rest of stand off munitions of PAF is only good for CAS. Not for long range strike missions.

Say If Thunder do venture 100 KM in to India and release ALCM. It would still be able to strike targets up to 400 KM which LACM would already cover. No pune still.

Sir Jee 2 regiments of Brahmos missiles are already deployed in North and South Rajasthan since years now(since 2008-09 or even before If I am not wrong). We are now deploying 3rd regiment in NE(Arunachal Pradesh) while fouth regiment will be deployed in NE later.

You dont need Pune, its influence in terms of causing you harm is lesser as compared to the other airfields. The same way Samungli bothers the IAF less as compared to taking out the key airfields that threaten their main focus of operations.

Thunder's combat radius will be well beyond Pune, carrying Ra'ad.
