While opening a new thread it would be a good Idea to do some research, make up your mind what you'd like to convey & then proceed.

No offence meant but this post gives the impression that there are only three persons of eminence worth mentioning.

More so when after ' Former Stalwarts ' one sees only one name.

A well meaning thread will then naturally attract a comment like that at Post No 2.

To all the Indian members, we don't need to show some people how secular we are. Have we ever heard of minorities leaving India in fear of persecution? Minorities in India are given all rights they deserve and our judicial system (Which sometimes is damn slow) is completely independent and doesn't show any partiality.

yes out of 20% Muslim population only 4% get government jobs.....

Its their fault. All these years they have preffered madarassas than good schools. Those muslims who are smart get jobs and all and those who are still stuck with madarassas are still suffering and usually prefer doing business.
PS: its good that now muslims are enrolling their children in good schools and leaving madarsas.

You know whats the sadder fact? Pakistan has killed so many Hindus there is not even 4% Hindus left in Pakistan, which was once 100% Hindu.... So i clearly feel we are doign a much better job than you guys

p.s. its actually 13.4% as per census....

Yes. But out of the 20% of Muslims, How many are graduates and how many are 10+2 qualified? As to get a govt job a person needs +2 as min qualification for low level jobs and he must be a graduate for officer level jobs.

Now don't tell me, Govt has neglected Muslims in education sector also. In my state Muslims and other minorites fees is paid by the state govt. in graduate courses. All they have to do is get 40 out of 160 marks in qualifying exam.

Dear Diary, OP had a brain fart sitting behind his computer-screen today. He posted 2-and-a-half pictures of men, said they were Indian non-Hindus and concluded that India had given "more than apt representation" to minorities. It made my tummy tickle, a little. Go back to your call-center OP. Intelligent discourse is not for you.

Are you actually serious here? Everyone from the Prime Minister, ex-Presidents, Army Chiefs, Intelligence Chiefs etc. Name any profession and there has been a influential non-Hindu there.

Mind you some of these very positions are constitutionally banned from the reach of non-Muslims in Pakistan due to outright discrimination laws.

So Go back to your madrassah. Intelligent discourse is not for you.

Are you seriously going to argue that man, when even most of your cities have Hindu names, (although most have been changed ot Islamic names today)? You think Muslims gave their cities Hindu names? You think Muslims originally lived in Lahore, a city named after the son of Bhagwan Ram?

There are little Hindus in Pakistan. In Pakistan 45% of Punjabis are 80% in the army and 70% in the administrative job. :cheesy: a Hindu or Christian in Pakistan can't become army chief or interior minister.
