Power Projection Capabillities of TAF

I would love to see Turkey able to project his power in the world, but the actuel menace totady is Turkey's neighbour and PKK, and maybe we should invest this money for other, more urgent projet ?
But projet like an LHD will not be good before 10 years at least (porpably more), so maybe we should begin now, because we risk to needs it in the futur and not have it.

As long as USAF doesn't, we neither But this puts us in some marks over; but afaik US plans to aquire KC-46 by the beginning of 2018.

USAF KC135s are way older than ours, their structural integrity isn't the same with ours.

KC135 isn't an outdated design... it's just that their platforms got old

first of all, P8 poseidon or any aircraft that's designated by P letter isn't a bomber bro

American bomber aircrafts are currently B2 Spirit, B1 Lancer and B52 Stratofortress. We don't have any bomber aircraft and it's debatable whether we need one or not. But our Meltem 3 ATR72s are nice naval patrol aircrafts that could be compared with P8. These aircraft are useful at hunting submarines.

P-8 are more usefull in a big Oceanic Envirement than in the eastern mediterran. Bombers are usefull when you want secure Area of influence some thousend km away from the Homeland, in Turkeys Case Central Asia, Morocco and south Asia.
