Potential Pakistan Entry in BRICS Via China’s BRICS Plus Leaves India Concerned

instead of opposition India should welcome Pakistan ,reason being

Pakistan is a big market of 200 Mil people
Pakistan offers trade route to Central Asian states
Pakistan is 5th fastest growing economy
Already mil of Indians are working in Pakistan

.
If you say that the status of Pakistan's diplomatic relations has little to do with India's efforts, I will agree. The world will not necessarily listen to India. But it doesn't have to. Hafeez Saeed, Masood Azhar, Osama bin Laden, Haqqani, etc etc do all the talking on our behalf.

Modi, Aseenanand (?), Ajit Devil ... the list is very long.
Funny thing is most of these fanatic terrorists are occupying most powerful positions in India!

You have absolutely no moral authority left to talk about Hafiz Saeed, Masood Azhar and co.

.
Pakistan will overtake South Africa this year most likely anyways (nominal GDP).
All of the medium sized Asian rising economies Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philippines should be considered though.

Thats pretty much the point, China wants to add various countries from other growing regions in the world, yet any mention of Pakistan makes the retard hyper-nationalists next door hyperventilate.

They want to maintain exclusivity to their own big boy club, but act overdramatically whenever they get rejected from the security council or NSG.

. .
Pakistan has not even been mentioned! It might be some other nation that could get entry into BRICS then the name will be something else!

Listen, you will not acceed to the long history of assymetric warfare through non-state actors that is your state policy. So let us not snipe over something that is the subject matter of intelligence briefings and diplomatic cables.

Let the decision makers decide based on the evidence before them, whether they want to engage with India or Pakistan, or both. In your world the presence of Osama near your Army command might be equal to a riot or an accused held innocent by the court. Maybe the world sees things differently.

Fine, then don't bring up something which is equally if not more abundant in your own country (i.e. support of cross-border terrorism).

India has been doing it for more than the last half century (Mukti Bahini, LTTE, BLA, TTP etc).

So stick to discussing geopolitics of regional grouping rather than wish-concert where other countries should turn blind eye to Indian terrorism and instead declare others terrorists left and right, only because India wishes too.

Based purely on India's security position, Pakistan's entry into BRICS Plus is unacceptable because even if we assume that China has only the straightforward intent of facilitating investment in CPEC by introducing Pak into the midst, our position on CPEC is clear. It infringes on India's territorial claims and so we cannot allow its facilitation on such a forum.

So basically no reason for us to play ball.

This is your stated position, yes. Pakistan would also have same objections about India if it were part of a group India was wishing to join.

But as I said, in geopolitics sometimes you have to make compromises, whether you like them or not. :-)

So lets just wait and see, who knows, may be China is just trolling India,:P

Brics is club of best performing economies across world.I wonder what Pakistan can contribute there. It's far better if we ask Indonesia or others such developing best performing economies to join.
Brics is dead today because of brazil and south african economies failed to live up to the expectations a decade ago
Russia as well with all these sanctions is struggling to do business with the western world.

Indonesia, Pakistan and even Iran could help save Brics from what it is right now.

Well,we worth nearly 2 trillion dollars. What about Pakistan? [emoji23]

yes u have the largest amount of poor people anywhere in the world.
even with ur 2 trillion the standard of living for the poor in pakistan is much better then india

play ball????
BRICS is dead my friend, the Brazilian economy tanked, SA economy is going no where they aren't even helping out zimbabwe their neighbours and the infamous bread basket of Africa it once was. The west is putting sanctions on Russia on a monthly bases. how can u even justify that BRICS is beneficial in its current state to any nation ?

In my opinion China and India should be absolutely supporting the brics plus idea because what they have now is doing nothing. More then SA or Russia its Brazil thats hurt BRICS more then anything, a decade ago Brazil was seen as they next china especially for the massive south america market, but its economy is in tatters at the moment and no sign of recovery.

we are nation of 200 million people and relatively small compared to your 2 billion nation.

why don't you compare the size of ur economy with the other billion plus nation in the world because you know China is kicking indian ***. your 2 trillion economy is peanuts infront of their 18 trillion economy :rofl::rofl::rofl:

China doesnt say it is a super-power but it is. India thinks its a super power but cant even begin to stand up to China or any other super power. And China reminds them every now and then where they stand. That's why Indians dont bother competing with the Chinese. Indians just try and poke all the South Asian countries. Big bully. That is why we need a strong China so that South Asian countries can live with some peace at least.
