Aksu is a small Uyghur predominant town in Xinjiang, used to be center region of Xinjiang's unrest a decade ago, now is quiet and peaceful , thanks for those police officers doing their rounds 24/7 ,guarding households, streets and schools..often make do of lunch with some naan and bottled waters.
