I hope police pull up their socks and go after cattle smugglers with the same enthusiasm they went after local goons and gangsters.

I am glad there is bjp govt in UP..had it not been for them ,these cow killers would have gone Scot free...I don't believe cow or any other animal is sacred ..however it is highly abominable to kill poor animals as an act of revenge against Hindus...Muslims of late are gaining sympathy for some of the alleged attacks on them(which are a result of retaliation against their atrocities against Hindus)... Such acts will only alienate them further...its high time their religious leaders come out and give a message that no muslim in India should kill a cow as it is associated with the Hindus sentiments..even mughals didn't allow slaughter of cows...don't we Hindus respect Muslims religious sentiments?
Whenever we call our Muslim friends for a party or any other occasion,we see to it that only halal meat is bought and cooked...This is done by Hindus across India..Unlike Islam and christianity ,hindu god isn't exclusive for Hindus...we believe in sarva dharma samabhava(equality of religions)..we believe all paths lead to god..Hindu texts say no matter what spiritual path one may choose,it ultimately reaches that one true god..this is the reason a Hindu goes to dargahs..Muslims should realize they can have a peaceful existence only when they respect others beliefs as well...

We don't ask them to eat our prasad...we don't ask them to convert to our religion..we don't ask them to stop azaans or loud Friday qutbas...we just ask for not to kill an animal which is considered sacred in our religion..I don't think it is even sunnah to eat cow meat...I am pretty sure prophet Mohammed would have never eaten cow as he spent his life in a desert where cows were not present...I heard tarek Fatah say that this cow killing was started by Hyderabad and lucknowi nawabs to hurt Hindus feelings....those nawabs did an irreparable damage to the cause of Islam too..no Hindu would have converted to Islam once they started consuming beef...Early converts to Islam might have stayed away from beef..If eating cow draws such a strong reaction even today,you could imagine what it would have meant to the people some hundreds of years ago.

Now there are police reports that the cow carcasses were brought in there from elsewhere on the behest of 'secular' Samajwadi Party. You very well know the reason !
