Police shoot suspected suicide bomber in Islamabad



ISLAMABAD: Police have shot dead a suspected suicide bomber after a failed attack in Islamabad on Sunday night, DawnNews reported.

Officials said that the bomber attempted to target a police check post when he was killed. Reports say that the targeted checkpost was between Sectors E-11 AND F-11 of Islamabad.

There were six police officials present at the checkpost, when the bomber made his failed attempt. A bomb disposal squad has defused the suicide jacket that the bomber was wearing, police officials said.

It is very much possible that police had warned anyone to stop and the person out of fear ran away while police killed him and now what would be the best make up story other than claiming that he was shouting that narah.


i am doubtful about it because a woman was killed in a similar manner iin Peshawar last year

Well in case of Pakistan all those intiial claims were based on just sensationalisations. Possibility is one thing but killing someone in panic and then claiming she was a suicide bomber well not a wise thing.
