why would they laid arms at first place ? have any militant group ever laid down arms easily ? they were actually expecting this and offered a talk/negotiations on their terms (1 month ceasefire) which obviously was rejected.

Those talks were BS
it was a non starter

I mean it was more of surrender ultimatum to army not even die hard terroists offer these kinda of talks
