What's new

Police back to old Uniform with slight changes

so nishat mills make billions providing uniform to police for 16 months

1. Graduate ≠ competency.
2. Pakistan has a complaint commission http://www.cplc.org.pk/
3. All police officers below the rank of SP have their ID number on display on a PETI (Belt), you can ask him or her to give you his or her PETI number, their PETI number is also available on their service card. Upon asking, a constable must give you his PETI number, thana number and SHO name.
4. 1/2 officers per district? Do you know how many people are in a district? Take Karachi for example, each district of Karachi has a population of roughly 2.6 million, you think two officers can liaise with 2.6 million people?

Personally I'd have a more workman like uniform over ceremonial tunic and trousers any day, there is a reason the MET in the UK did away with the black No.2 Tunic and trousers for a more streamlined uniform.

Tell this guy that to his face:
:dance3:
He is not that fat really, besides it still does not look good despite the martial arts skills. I did not say anything about the competence of officer based upon fatness although there probably is a slight negative correlation....

What's that "F" ?

Good move. Postman uniform abolished.
They should make police look more professional like Jacket or waist coat with 'Police' written on it, half sleeves, forage caps etc.

What's that "F" ?

That F is for identification of uniform samples. So what happens when a tender is about to be opened is that the big bosses will get together and ask their underlings :agree: for uniform samples, the lower staff will contact registered suppliers and get example uniforms. Each sample will be identified with a letter or a serial number and displayed it's just a method for distinguishing one over the other.

The best sample is chosen for the final tender and a PC1 is completed and submitted in compliance with Punjab public procurement regulatory authority guidelines.
