Hmm, add more incentives. Perhaps if they are worried about giving up their entire air force to Ukraine, perhaps the U.S. can based some fighter jets as temporary replacement for Poland's air force until they get new fighter jets.Poles should get some advanced AA systems apart from a squadron of new aircraft. Patriot PAC-3 or NASAMS or something else.
From what I'm reading in another article posted recently, Poland still doesn't want to give them up. Even with the Biden Administration and the lawmakers pressuring them.
we already got Patriots deliverd more to comePoles should get some advanced AA systems apart from a squadron of new aircraft. Patriot PAC-3 or NASAMS or something else.

This for Poland or for Ukraine? Not sure the U.S. is willing to send these in when the U.S. Army just barely got it. Unless you referring to a Stryker unit equipped with these and head to Poland.Maybe this is the answer

Stryker Anti-Air System, short range anti-aircraft/anti-drone system that was specifically designed to counter Russian Air Asset. US Army is just fielding this and people who had used it said they are easy as hell to use...
Hopefully the U.S. Army also address the issue on Air defense like having a Buk type with medium range missiles and capable of having its own radar and very mobile. At least 50 km or more range.Maybe this is the answer

Either way will work IMO. But yes, chances of US giving Ukraine the Stryker AA is next to slim. This for Poland or for Ukraine? Not sure the U.S. is willing to send these in when the U.S. Army just barely got it. Unless you referring to a Stryker unit equipped with these and head to Poland.

Feel like the Ukrainians will just use whatever systems they have on hand as well as those the Russians provided. Course maybe the Eastern countries change their mind and supply more advance SAMs that they can use. Feel like they should develop a Super Stinger missile. Something that has more reach,..kind of like with anti tank missile on a tripod because it be really big and heavy. Obviously less portable, but it be still easily concealable.Either way will work IMO. But yes, chances of US giving Ukraine the Stryker AA is next to slim.

S does not have good air defense systems because US military assumes they have air superiority
how hard is it to provide Poland with 2-3 squadrons of F-16 fighters ?
Ukraine is a UN-recognized sovereign country. Ukranians are confronting and fighting Russian forces throughout the country - this is indicative of the fact that Ukranians have build their own national identity since independence and these two are not one nation. Russia found it difficult to sweep even Donbas which had been under Russian influence for so long; while much of Donbas has fallen to Russians by now, Maripol continues to offer resistance in this sector. Russians will have to do a lot more to take Kyiv in fact.As we say in Punjabi "saadi Billi San hii meow"
Namak Haram Ukrainian trying to fight Russia with Russian tech . The foundation of their military is infact still very Russian with all the similar culture and equipment . Putin is right when he said Russia and Ukraine is just one nation. Ukraine is nothing without Russia. It's just the west sponsored Nazi ideology in Ukraine caused this war.
And who will fly them ?
NATO has division of labor. I do not know which country operates Patriot PAC-3Poles should get some advanced AA systems apart from a squadron of new aircraft. Patriot PAC-3 or NASAMS or something else.
I don't need to watch RT,CNN etc to get a understanding of this region. There is a real recent history of this region which is screaming at us loud and clear.Ukraine is a UN-recognized sovereign country. Maybe check other sources besides RT for broader understanding of this region?
You couldn't understand your own country if your life depended on. Let alone some far away region of the worldI don't need to watch RT,CNN etc to get a understanding of this region. There is a real recent history of this region which is screaming at us loud and clear.
TOW is too cumbersome. May as well keep using JavelinFeel like the Ukrainians will just use whatever systems they have on hand as well as those the Russians provided.
