What's new

Pockets of Mini Pakistans in India.

Im with you but not this, Pakistani ethnicities have cultural and historical ties and introducing too many of other ethnic groups and cultures will destroy this; just look at what happened with the inclusion East Pakistan in the nation.

They can make another country for themeselves, hell they can call it Pakistan Two if they really want to.
Well said.

Pakistan had always been a beacon of hope for the Muslims of India since independence. In the past few decades Pakistan owing to its own issues went cold on their brethren. But the Muslims of India ,who are Pakistani by heart never miss an opportunity to portray their love for Pakistan ,by displaying its flag in every corner of India. From Kashmir to Kerala, from Allahabad to Assam the unrelenting love is displayed occasionally much to the displeasure of the Indian media. One day a time will come when our borders will expand, and our brothers will join us.

In fact Indians are so fed up they have taken the matter to SC. I hope one day Pakistan will embrace its brothers all over India and support their struggle against the RSS and by upholding the two nation theory.
Nonsense, my interaction with Indian Muslims have been to the contrary and that was not surprising, they are Indians and hence will support their country. The pictures you showcased are out-of-context, the picture of 'Hyderbad Deccan' for example is the flag of a Muslim party, not Pakistan. Do you really think that we're the only ones to use a green crescent/star flag?

Indian Muslims are Indians, that is why an overwhelming majority of them decided to stay in India.

So first of all I never said that we are or we even could send anyone to any place. I am pretty sure people living in Uttar pardesh probably don't want to go to place like balochistan to live either. Not sure where you got that. But go on educate us about ethnicities, origin of Khiljis and what make them strongly coupled to the land they live on.

Well what makes us coupled to the land well we have always been around these lands , these lands are ours or those who share heritage with, kpk, baluchistan, Afghanistan is the land of Turco iranic people, khiljis being the Turco heritage.

What do I know about ethnicities well I can trace my family 500 odd years, what do I share with other half of Pakistan a common struggle, a common goal, why you may ask because our forefathers decided to be part of Pakistan but not at the cost of dilution of our heritage.

What do I have in common with you, shared history and religion, I dont speak same tongue as you , I don't look like you, I look at you as my equal but I can't say the same about you , as you look eastward while I look westward.

So once again you are a land based on non ethnicity, so please let them in and do what you wish, just don't expect us to be hospitable, we like to keep our land & people beautiful.

You may say am a racist, but that doesn't bother me because I am a nationalist.

Have you seen the video of Azam Khan MP from Ramgarh. Give it a year or two under Modi the silent Muslims will become more vocal in their struggle.

I think you summed it very well for me... I do look a lot like them. I have two legs (thankfully that i walk on). Two hands. I can effectively communicate with humankind and I don't care where I am facing, whether westward or eastward. I wouldn't say you are racist, but I do believe some of your assertions are misplaced since most of the people in india also claim to be aryan (considering you associate yourself with iranic heritage). My thought is they are all mixed up (thankfully).

Apparently you did get conquered by arabs and the your beloved land was repeatedly pillaged by all sorts of races, while they were on their way to the preferred destinations (like indus valley, other indian plains and grasslands).
This is probably the reason you are neither fully iranian, neither turkic, nor mongol, nor greek etc. etc. hence you decided to be khilji.

Those who claim Aryan heritage in India are mixed & diluted, they can claim what they wish but if they were Aryans they are no longer that.

I am not an Aryan nor do I wish to be, my tribe is of Turkic heritage, we are associated with pukhtoons but we are not pukhtoon however we share joint history and similar culture they are Aryan people so are Tajiks but not us we are what we are Khiljis.

I never said you looked like them, but you are champion of ummah and Islamic brotherhood and welcoming, you guys are so welcoming that you sided with Ranjit Singh against us, never mind a small blip before we put everything to how it was.

Your reward was slaughter by Sikhs, rape and so on during partition well that's called karma.

You are welcoming again by opening kartarpur corridor for Sikhs who you see as fellow Punjabi, surely there will be a reward somewhere along the line.

If only one can drown in their own shame as an example the world will be a better place.

Well one thing is for sure I am what I am but nothing like you , yes we got conquered and we conquered, that's how the cooky crumbles but am sure you will tell us about the conquest of people of West & East Punjab.

I don't claim to be khilji or anything. And you are right I do believe in nationhood but not because I found myself to be closely tied up or chained with just a piece of land. No one here said that we are bringing people here, not that there is any harm in that. We are not insecure about it.

Like I said Karma, it wasn't my people that got raped, killed, looted during partition it was yours and carried out by the same people they joined against us.

We never forget, never ever.

Well we are not insecure we protect what is ours simple.

Well let's hope kartarpur will bring you more goodies.

I hope this is not a dream coming from Punjabistan (instead of Pakistan). Pakistan was made for muslim all over subcontinent not just for the ethnicities that resided in the area that was selected in Pakistan.

If we don't come out of this mindset we will never unite. Just for info West pakistan was included in the pakistan as a nation not east. Muslim league was first became effective entity in Bengal.

Before you start giving me a title of Pakhtunkhwa, punjabi or urdu speaking. I am from Punjab, but more proud of being a Pakistani. The only thing i take pride from being punjabi is the cultural aspect. That does not make me better than any other Pakistani as all of them are equally good. Bangladeshis were equal too, but we did not treat them that way and we paid the price for it.

First of all everyone is welcome to Pakistan I never said otherwise; All the major ethnicities of Pakistan have a tied bond to eachother and the land which means that any threat to Pakistan is a threat to themeselves. Muhajirs, Hazaras, Bengalis, and all the other smaller groups that migrated have been well integrated into this mindset because they arrived in much smaller numbers and in a very short amount of time our land became their land too.

My point was that there must be 100+ million people that realistically cannot be integrated into the nation. This was the problem with East Pakistanis who despite being part of a single nation, outside of shared religion had no reason to defend and develop the land and people of West Pakistan.

@Behram Khilji

Please don’t make stereotypical statements about Punjabis. This is not the time to promote Pukhtoon-Punjab feuds.

Just now we have gotten past our internal squabbles (race-based parties) to unite behind a single national political party.

My family originally escaped the Kashmir-East Punjab border region in 1947 when India flooded our homeland with radical Hindu/Sikh mobs.

Punjabi Pakistanis have no love for India as they massacred 1 million of our people and made 14 million into refugees.

More than half of Punjabi people are descended or originate from KPK, Balochistan, Kashmir, Sindh or even far away places like Arabia, Turkic countries, or Mongolia. The rest have admixture from these regions.

Punjabis don’t want an influx of more people from India either, brother. We are already dealing with Afghan refugees and the problems associated with them.

I am not privy to all-India information, but this i can tell you that North Eastern tribes hate your kind. Please forgive me for being very forthright in my views but under the prevailing circumstances this is the best i could explain myself.

The brahmin claiming to be tribe charade still goes on

I don't do feuds, we are Pakistanis and that's the most important thing , I have no issues with any Pakistani living in any region of Pakistan, but I do have issues with people who are not native to this land living in Pakistan, if certain province wants them I have no issues with that either but not at the cost of other provinces.

only what is inside the red line is Pakistan. The rest can do whatever they want

Actually, Punjabi Muslims were instrumental in the defeat of the Sikhs. We joined together with the Durranis to do it.

It is not so simple. We were not happy with Sikh looting and desecration of Islamic Holy sites, esp in Lahore.

I don't doubt that for a minute, good and bad in all I guess.

We forgive but we don't forget.
