Commissioning Ceremony of Pak Navy Ship TABUK held at Romania. PNS TABUK is a multipurpose & highly adaptive platform equipped with state of the art electronic warfare, anti-ship & anti-air weapons/sensors along with modern self-protection & terminal defence system.

Capable to embark multi-role Helicopter & UAV simultaneously & can perform variety of maritime Ops. During the ceremony CO PNS TABUK highlighted role & impact of these platforms in Indian Ocean Region & acknowledged the professional competence of DAMEN Shipyards.

How much time it usually takes to fully install the weapons & sensors and make it deployment ready.

what a stupidity why not PNS chichawatni or PNS KOHAT PNS pasni ? why a city name of other country ?:(

The ship has been named after a Middle Eastern place which has significant value as far as Islamic literature is concerned.

By using same logic,
Your name is 'Imran', and it was name of a prophet from Middle East.

The nomenclature is not bound by lines drawn on map.

Great now waiting for six new heavy ships which will come.

Sir G, tomorrow people could ask for PNS Altaf Hussain/PNS Nawaz Sharif or PNS NANI Safdar SHARIF/PNS Bilawal BHUTTO Zardari. :D
Simply we could not afford the so popular list.
Plz do not pollute this forum with political jokes. Point is that we should appreciate this ambitious approach of Pakistan Nay to expand its muscle no matter which name they choose for their ships. Those who are well aware of Islamic history knows pretty well the importance of Ghazwa e Tabook. I see no problem with these names.

Ship is not named for the city of Tabouk but that battle from Islamic history... Our history. Stop all the bullishit complaining about why its named this that or the other thing. A large % of Urdu cam be traced to arabic and the history of Islam and the prophet belongs to all Muslims, not just the Saudis (despite what they want you to think)

what a ignorance the ship is not named after a city but a famous battle of islamic history which is our own history not of other country as islamic history is shared.

Ghazawa-e-Tabook was a ghazwa of our Prophet (SAW).

Regret for inconvenience caused.
Just answered an honourable member's post in relevance - no intentions to pollute the form.
