Separating religion from state is the only way to ensure lasting peace in Pakistan. But this should help us to come out of our denial .Our people misled by some sections of the media blames everything that goes wrong in our country on the Jews,Indians or Americans.We all sit in our drawing rooms condemning the non-believers for hatching conspiracies against our religion and our country when the truth is that the religious fanatics within our ranks are the ones intent on taking us back to the stone ages.

A major operation to clean up the islamic extremists hiding in the armed forces is needed as these people are working against our state from within & are the most dangerous as they have all the inside information.

Saudi sources are a big source of funding for thugs like the TTP and Lashkar e Jhangvi. Private Donors in Saudi have been funding efforts to expand the Salafi movement around the world including places like Phillipines, Somalia and Indonesia not too mention our back yard. Most of the TTP militants as well as the anti Shia outfits are heavily funded by Salafi donors in Saudi.

As Pakistanis we need to open our eyes and stop living in denial.

Our commandos are also serving in gulf royalities..why dont they make their jehadi attacks there..remember Mumtaz qadri was not affiliated with any sect suspected of wahabi or arab funded..and same applies for many of these terrorist sympathetic army personals.. without mentioning names, one of the person indicted in this case is son of our pesudo neighbour..their house is few feet away from our at malir (I dont live permenantly at malir)..and i very well know what sect they belong too..the grandfather of this boy is still an Indian national but lives comfortably in Pakistan and enjoy a strong social outreach to elites of Pakistan. He is also a strong critic of Jinnah and anti-Pakistan.

Saudis once funded the taliban under puppet regime of king fahd...he is like the most hated monarch..nobody even talks about him now even tho Abdullah had been in power of 6 years and Fahd ruled for 20+ years yet people have forgotten all about his rotten years. ^^^^^Private Saudi donors are different from Saudi govt. Even though the Saudi govt. severed ties in Taliban back in 1999 when it refused to hand over Bin Laden, private Saudi donors have still passed on money as have private Pakistani donors as well.

Ofcourse they are, and the Saudi govt. has probably done the most to cut of the financial network. They have spent millions in tracking tech. and really gone down hard on any sort of money channel that could fund this. These individuals are basically funding Saudi govt. enemies in AQ or Taliban.

But SA is also has wealthy individuals who are not happy with the Saudi govt.. There are also occasions like Haj and Ramadan when people give a lot in charity with good intentions. Here is the main loopholes were suspected groups have gone and collected money from unsuspecting individuals or fanatic wealth Saudi individuals or UAE or Qatar for that matter.
