I think we should not see it as politics I fear more about Karachi. There will be no one else in the foreseeable future, Karachi fate will be sealed for ever.
But one thing we need to keep in mind, it's not a matter a couple of days of TV shows. PPP ethnic card needs to be neutralized. India is actively involved in Karachi and is waiting for such an opportunity to cash in. Most important, step like this requires full backing of establishment, if they don't think it's appropriate in these uncertain times it won't happen even if PTI tries.

I mean what if PTI doesn't win next country's election...What if PML-N comes in power again?

Then what? where does Karachi stands then? I mean we are not Lahore or Islamabad which are always pampered irrespective of which ever government Pakistan has

I do understand what you meant but mqm did the same and that is with support of public just showing you how strong mqm was

And now we have seen what happened to mqm.

Ppp had been given enough years to rule and perform if they cant deliver in 12 years they wouldnt be able to in future. And no one can come on media and say sindhi desh and get separated just like that.

Federation would have moved in already had it not been for a threat of removing the current govt. IK uses NAB against Sharifs and Karachi against Bhuttos to keep them in check. If he makes a move on Karachi, a dedicated Bhutto can become a real pain in the ***. That is why, it is my opinion, IK won't make a move until the second half of his 5 year tenure. In the last 1.5 - 2 years, he might take Karachi under his wing. Right now, I highly doubt there is political will at the centre to do any such thing.
