Dear Brother ! This is what nation is hearing from last 4 years, but nothing happens on grounds.
Would you please share the list of such dams which this govt have complete yet?

Sister dams not completes in 4 years it took longer time secondly the mess spread around us from 9 /11 to 2013 was not easy to recover from it till nov this year insha Allah 5000 MW will be induct in national grid.in last two govts tenures not a single power plant inducted in national grid but now 8 new coal fired power plants 4 nuclear power plants and 5 hydro power plants are under construction. And nawaz sharif is not my relative but at least we must give him time to finish his term,if they fail.people will took revenge on election day just like they did with PML Q and pppp but till then we have to show the patience for sake of our country and future development. Thanks. I hope you will understand

I belong to his constituency PP 110 and NA 105, In last election compaign Monis Elahi came here and had visited like every street of his constituency for votes.......we voted both Monis Elahi and Pervaid Elahi..They both won as MPA & MNA respectively....and since then during all these 3-4 years.. we haven't seen them here, i admit PMLQ did alot of work during thier goverment under Musharaf ...but cant see any work or development during these last 3-4 years....our roads are same as they were before 10-15 years. and almost zero improvement in every sector and No jobs....My town with population around 100,000 do not have even a single play ground or park......
Not gonna vote them again and i don't think PMLQ will win this time from this constituency. specialy without allaince with PTI....as i don't see much support for PMLQ here.

Thats because PMLN has purposefully starved PMLQ's constituencies of funds. They have been diverting all funds to other areas (Like Lahore, we all know that) I still think PML-Q leadrship are better politicians because even when they were in power, they remained accessible.

This time PTI should be given a chance, not for the sake of chance, but beacuase we have no other option, and ITS the best available option among others, after PTI, i prefer JI and then PMLQ .... PMLQ and JI should make allaince with PTI in next election.. good luck

Rulers making money, not electricity, says Pervaiz Elahi​

Pakistan Muslim League central leader and EX Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said the PML will construct Kalabagh Dam and provide electricity to consumers for Rs3 per unit instead of Rs16 while agricultural tube-well will get free power.



After construction of the dam, Sindh will get maximum sweet water whereas Punjab will get water after Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces. "We will also end war among the provinces," he said while addressing a grand workers convention in Sargodha on Wednesday.

Moonis Elahi for launching a ‘crusade’ against VVIP culture​

Pakistan Muslim League senior leader Chaudhry Moonis Elahi has raised a voice against growing VVIP culture which is deeply rooted in the regime of the Sharif brothers.

“More than 10,000 cops are on VIP/VIIP duty. That is more than 40 per cent of the total number of police in Lahore. It is unfortunate that the security of 10million people of Punjab is seriously being compromised because of this step of the PML-N Punjab government . But who cares in the N-League government as it is busy making fast bucks and planning to extend its rule,” Moonis Elahi said.

Mr Moonis Elahi, who is a parliamentary leader of PML-Q in Punjab Assembly, wonders as how such a huge force could be deployed for the VVIP’s security. “Where are the rights activists… this is an issue of everyone… be it a politician, a journalist or civil society member he or she should raise this issue at any forum forcing the rulers to stop this VVIP culture,” Moonis said and suggested if the ruling elite is so much concerned about its security it should better spend it from its own pocket.

According to Dawn, `unauthorised’ duties and protocol assignments were consuming 45pc force of Lahore police.

“Most of Lahore police strength which was meant to fight crime is currently providing security cover to VIPs/VVIPs. Most of the beneficiaries of the police force are parliamentarians, politicians, judicial officers, foreigners, top civil administration and VIP personalities,” a senior police officer told Dawn.
The officer said about 90 vehicles of the Lahore police and 70 of Elite Force are being used by `unauthorised’ people. “In the absence of these official vans, the personnel at the police station level are forced to use private vehicles or motorbikes to discharge their duties. In addition, the fuel meant for the Lahore police vehicles is also being consumed by the unauthorised people in the name of protocol duties. Lahore police’s total strength of 26,300 is supposed to fight crime, maintain law and order and provide security to the lives and properties of some 10 million people.”

Dawn further reported that more than 10,000 cops, 160 vehicles of police engaged in protocol, security duties. Instead of posting police against their actual duties, a big chunk of the force has been engaged in protocol and VVIP duties and more force is being demanded for some other such unnecessary jobs.”

Like Moonis other politicians should also come forward and raise this issue vigorously. There has been a point in Moonis’ words… that politicians or other VIIPs should spend from their pocket and hire private guards for their security (if they want it) instead of engaging cops for their security at the expense of the tax payers money… which is cruel.
