All foreign cadets i.e Sri Lankan, Nepalese, Somalians, Sudanese, Jordanians, Palestinians etc are respected and they receive TRAINING.
KSA cadets spend their time doing Ayashi, hence the statement that it's wrong.

As someone who has undergone 2 years at PMA I can assure you without any doubt that KSA Cadets get special treatment.

father served in KSA in early 80s, he did mention very unimpressive stories and mentalities of Saudi personnel
he said saudis wanted conditioned trenches and bunkers to fight along the borders with Yemen (reference to war in Sharura back in early 80s)
but I thought people who do come to military training and courses do have basic minimum abilities to survive the course and training

Have no worries. The Yemeni military (reconstructed and trained by KSA and the Arab coalition) is doing a tremendous job lately as well.

As for the importance of Yemen (Ban el-Mandeb) it's importance cannot be underestimated hence the heavy involvement by the Arab side but not only. KSA and China opening military bases in Djibouti next door and Egypt and UAE in Eritrea etc. See the thread on the Arab section where I help connect the dots.
