In any case this debacle has to stop, i have been stuck at either Zero point or Faizabad junction many times just because some convoy was passing through on the highway.

Those areas are prime routes for VIP movements, Serena Hotel, PM/President house, all are reached by that route. Straight from Chaklala to there.

I'm aware of that dear, it just causes mayhem, the traffic is stopped long before the VIP convoy comes through....once i remember the traffic tailed back past the cricket stadium. With the induction of the new airport, things should improve.

COAS was trolling PM, i believe this is the reason NS was a bit upset during his meeting with COAS.

on the serious note, there is nothing to make news out of it. The SOP for PM, CJ, President, COAS clearly states that there should be NO obstacle, unauthorized vehicle / person on the road. COAS convoy was already at full speed and in motion, where as Ganja was still inside the premises its not like COAS made him stand outside on the road.

Nothing but sensationalist news piece. If the army chief really wanted to show shrief display of power he wouldn't have gone himself to shrief residence to congratulate him in his win. He wouldn't have attended his oath taking ceremony. Very soon army chief is going to debrief the pm on security issues. He would have have some lower ranking general do it he wants to display power.
