How about they build houses and buildings on the plot they already have. It's been nothing but streets for years now.

Karachi has enough land, they need to start building up.
But once you destroy the mangroves, you can never get them back.

Once preserved, you can attracts tourists, local and foreign, to amazing nature literally on the doors of a mega city.

no economic relief and plans for karachi

the PTI is proving to be the same as PPP honestly which also sold massive chunk of land to DHA and behria town, PTI is doing the same, no diff what so ever.

Stupid plan ... bundal island is at the end of Malir Naddi ... it has severage water in it and during winter season when tide is low the area is full if severage smell. No body can live in that area specially the elite

I think bluearea in Islamabad will destroy its beauty as there is alot of green belt at that place and is habitat of many birds.Also it is a source of fresh air to houses facing this area and give a very beautiful view of margalla hills to residents of houses but after construction of buildings this beauty will be lost.It is better to properly maintain such green belts and grow some beautiful plants at such pieces of land

i think it is continuation of current blue area in Islamabad and include green belt in the same direction of this blue area starting from sector G-8 to G-11

From tourism point of view.. beaches attract a lot more tourists than mountains. Beaches conjure up a relaxing image which all the working people in the world especially west prefer while the mountains normally associated with adventure and challenge which attracts lesser number of tourists even though everyone likes to brag about his or her adventures.

Beaches are great, but Karachites, I assume, want to escape the Heat from time to time. If the location I pointed out or something similar is significantly cooler, then it offers another option; within reasonable driving time. The other beaches along the coast can be developed, and the mangroves spared. As a reference Murree is at an altitude of nearly 2300 meters.

All of that can be fixed by routing sewage to the treatment plant.
