You said the Taliban have lost more, so you actually didn't know. The thing is the insurgency is now at it's worst since the war began and that's why people say the Taliban haven't been that greatly impacted, including questioning the causalities they have supposedly suffered.

Yes the US is more powerful, but the dynamics of Afghanistan are far different, which makes the war harder to fight.

Taliban gas workers in lakhs, may be even a million. Taliban has massive ground network. Even people like local shepherds are with Taliban. So, it may be true that Taliban has taken 20k to 30k casualty. Taliban is quite resilient

If you want a list to establish that Taliban as terrorists , I have nothing more to say.

Hey we r not the ones controlling the narrative of who is a terrorist and who is not. It's the west who is in control. If Pak could control that narrative then Pak wouldn't have ended up on FATF's list. According to the current narrative about "terrorists/terrorism", KSA gets a free pass, Russia gets a free pass, etc.

Even though there are plenty of countries that sponsor their own proxy groups, a blind eye is turned towards them...since Pak isn't in the list of "good boys" right now...that blind eye isn't turned towards Pak.

So since u r so "fair" I wonder if u will condemn US and the west about picking and choosing between "good terrorists" and "bad terrorists"...I hope ur "just" behavior isn't only for Pakistan/Pakistanis.

The attack is heinous but worse as you mentioned is the casual way how terrorism has been stream lines into main stream in few countries.

Syrian Army took far higher losses and still won.
Anyways Taliban losses are higher than ANSF as confirmed by US Resolute Mission.

Syrian army uses different tactics than ANA,

Armies of both Afghanistan and Iraq were trained by the United States with better equipment and still they struggled and ran away. This shows they either were trained to be incompetent by the US or that US tactics sucks. My belief is the former since it is in the United States Interest to have a never ending war for weapon sales and to destabilize the region.

The Syrian army on the other hand is being advised and directed by Iranian generals as we have seen many Iranian generals die in Syria. Iranian generals use a much different tactic, They conscript and recruit hundreds of thousands of the soldiers of the Syrian population and fight and push with thousands of soldiers on every front line (72+ fronts) at the same time while using trench warfare to dig into their positions whether its inside a building or a grass field. They fight for every single piece of land even if its a piece of empty desert. They also have learnt from Hezbollah on street fighting, how to fight from building to building. Hezbollah stopped the Israeli advance in the Israeli hezbollah war and have given their expertise to their allies the Syrian army. Hezbollah themselves were trained by Iran.

So you see it comes down to who is advising who on the ground and if they are serious about it. Aghan army were trained to be incompetent with tactics that dont work in an effort to keep the war going indefinitely for weapon sales.

The United States is not serious as it has pulled nearly all its solders of the ground and does not care anymore and its in its interests to keep selling weapons.

And no I do not consider them backward combatants, these are the same people who hung political enemies from barrels of tanks, and chopped off peoples arms and legs, these people have brainwashed kids to blow up themselves to kill innocent civilians in the name of god to do their bidding, these are the same people who ran a genocide factory when they were in power. If these are not terrorists, who are? From thier rise in the early nineties, tosiege of Kabul with thier hekaymetyaar buddies, to the terror factory of Darul Uloom Haqqania, to thier aid and nurturing AQ, thier conduct has been nothing other than sheer terror.

I do have an opinion, and doesn't need the blessing of US state debt to identify terrorist scumbags and taliban are the finest examples.

Now to address specifics, No Taliban is not a listed terror organisation in FTO list, but if we do suggest such lists are the precondition to determine actions as terrorism, a lot of your freedom fighting thread would be quite contrary to the popular belief.
