Provincial head not National Head.
Syrian Army took far higher losses and still won.Still a big hit, if you include Razak. The ANA has taken huge losses over the past few months. I think the term the beginning of the end is most apt here.
Won't be so sure about that, irrespective I hope the perpetrators of these attacks get back what they deserve.Still a big hit. The ANA has taken huge losses over the past few months. I think the term the beginning of the end is most apt here.

Anyways Taliban losses are higher than ANSF as confirmed by US Resolute Mission.

OT- it is quite sickening to see that this forum now celebrates terrorists attacks in Afghanistan with candor and moderators don't even care to cleanup such vile.
If you want a list to establish that Taliban as terrorists , I have nothing more to say.Nothing is for certain in this conflict, what is known is the ANA is very weak now and the US is increasingly being drawn into the conflict, beyond the remit they intended from the day the ANA took over.
As for celebrating this, bar one post, the rest were directed towards Modi and didn't take joy from the deaths that occurred.
Objectively speaking though it is a war and the commander was a combatant killed by a special operation. Had it been the other way no one would have battered an eyelid.
Are the Taliban on the list of known terrorist groups, I can't stand them but I do find this odd. I might be wrong.

Afghan army is backed by USA even more powerful rhan Russia.Syrian army had Russia right there in the thick of it. How do you now the Taliban have lost more?
but a NATO spokesman said the allies are not recording enemy casualty numbers.
It’s unclear how many Taliban have been killed over the past 13 years but estimates vary from 20,000 to 35,000.

It's arguable how many losses the Taliban have taken. This has been questioned since the start of the war.

Also NATO does not official record enemy casualties since Vietnam due to NVA casualty claims issue.
Very true. You said the Taliban have lost more, so you actually didn't know. The thing is the insurgency is now at it's worst since the war began and that's why people say the Taliban haven't been that greatly impacted, including questioning the causalities they have supposedly suffered.
Yes the US is more powerful, but the dynamics of Afghanistan are far different, which makes the war harder to fight.
