PM Modi's US visit: US favours India's entry into elite nuclear clubs

.
pakistanis are too emotional and insecure to understa acy:lol:

They believe in sher e dil quom. they can eat grass but will fight till the end with swords, like they conquered some world half a million years ago. Etc etc

on the facts, Kashmir will be the cause of their downfall in near future. India has gone too ahead now. Pakistan is losing its influence, what ever it had.

.
India is well on its way to become America's puppet state instead of Pakistan. The sooner that happens, the better as the evil of American empire will shed from our people.
sour grapes!

. .
Should the PM of India give a damn about the US laws? I don't think so. Story ends there and then. Only those who seek residency in the US or are there on tourist VISA should worry. In India only Indian laws apply.
The point I was making was that the Judiciary is independent of the Govt. in US as in other functioning democracy, anyone (Tom, Dick or Harry) could have filed a lawsuit against Modi and have a summons ready. The Govt. of US cannot do shit.

I am also not saying that this lawsuit did not have an American Govt hand, it could have, but what goal would it serve, none. Whereas Pakistan, through NS ranting like a baby in UN about Human Rights in Kashmir and all the crap has some propaganda value.

problem with Pakistanis is that they don't understand the difference between principals that guide a nation and principal that guide an individual, huge difference b/w two. And i am talking about their leaders as well, they also think like kids and are too insecure and emotional to lead Pakistan in right direction.
At present we have 10times bigger economy to theirs and by 2030 it will become 20 times that of pakistan( if they survive till 2030 in their current shape ). pakistan can't afford to remain hostile to india forever.

No, unlike some of our neighbours, we don't have this culture of becoming 'puppet state' of one country or another. :)

Summons
The paper that tells a defendant that he or she is being sued and asserts the power of the court to hear and determine the case. A form of legal process that commands the defendant to appear before the court on a specific day and to answer the complaint made by the plaintiff.

The summons is the document that officially starts a lawsuit. It must be in a form prescribed by the law governing procedure in the court involved, and it must be properly served on, or delivered to, the defendant. If the prescribed formalities are not observed, the court lacks authority to hear the dispute.

In the federal district courts, the summons is prepared by the attorney for the plaintiff and given to the clerk of the court where the case will be heard. When the plaintiff's complaint, setting out his claim, is filed with the court, the clerk signs the summons and gives it and a copy of the complaint to a U.S. marshal or to someone else appointed to serve the papers. Once the summons and complaint are served on the defendant, she must respond to them within twenty days or whatever other time the court allows.

Some states follow this same procedure, but other states allow service of the summons and complaint by delivery directly to the defendant. In those states, the lawsuit is considered begun as soon as the defendant receives the papers, even though nothing has yet been filed with a court. Actions commenced in this way are sometimes called "hip pocket" suits.

Court summons legal definition of Court summons

If you follow this you would know that a clerk signs a summons without going into the merits of the case and when served starts the case officially.

Lol is that how you are going to counter my arguments? An extract from some non verifiable dictionary? I have given you a link to educational institute that guves reference to the Section of the Law in question, and it states very clearly that Judge need have a ground base for issuing the summon....please comment on that....

It was reported that 50,000 requests for tickets were received, 30,000 were turned way.
30K turned away doesnot mean they would be standing outside - i can say the number could be at 10k, no?
Were you there yourself?
The reason i am saying is, I have personally attended sit in in Islamabad for few days and the numbers varied , the ones reported and the size of the crowd....
And since non of us were there so it would be not right to trust those figures

It was not about Propaganda value my dear, because i can say the same about Modi's rants about terrorism by Pakistan --- it was just a way of showing that both need to stand equal, and none should think less of the other one....

I never said 10,000 people were standing outside. Indian Americans are busy people and they do not have time to stand outside venues and waste time.

i see the opposite way on that, Indian people should save their words instead of talking so much.

Its a good advice to the chinese who are encouraged not to talk much for fear of being jailed for saying the wrong thing. In India the freedom we enjoy makes us express ourselves more freely.

from the same link you posted.
  1. Issuance. On or after filing the complaint, the plaintiff may present a summons to the clerk for signature and seal. If the summons is properly completed, the clerk must sign, seal, and issue it to the plaintiff for service on the defendant. A summons—or a copy of a summons that is addressed to multiple defendants—must be issued for each defendant to be served.
Rule 4. Summons | Federal Rules of Civil Procedure | LII / Legal Information Institute
Rule 4 of title 2 of federal rules deals with procedure for issuance of a summons, when the complaint is filed, and for the service of the summons and complaint on the defendants.
