India is buying weapons from Israel to beef up her own capabilities not to provide money to Israel. If you see an ulterior motive behind Israel there is one from Indian side as well. Easy access to high tech weapons.

Modi to the world is anti-muslim, he doesnt care for minority votes, and his win was good news for Israel. And who doesnt know that Israel is behind Modi's ambitious projects in Gujarat?
I know it works in India's favor to support Israel and buy arms from them, as they wont be selling the same arms to China because America wont be too happy about it. But Israel is the one which stands to get more out Modi's visit.
Israel is looking for some strong support in UN, it can not depend on EU anymore where it runs the risks of sanctions. Israel is also planning to build up its Asian trade enough to reduce its economic dependence on Europe.
My point is "why does Modi have to make it so obvious???".
The business deals and UN's sessions would continue as a leaf in the wind, so what is Modi trying to prove to the world???
Ofcourse Israel is no pariah state and should not be treated as one.
