Aww.......how cute! Ontopic: Are the coalition forces expecting india to establish itself in afghanistan before making their exit? Is india being prepped to bear the afghan baggage?

No. That is not possible. India declined to be part of the 'military adventure' when it began (much against George Bush's hopes), has stayed out so far and will do so in future. India is hardly looking out to take on others 'liabilities'.

Lets discuss this issue 4 years down the line, there will be no change in India's stance even then.

Most likely an aircraft of the IAF's VIP Comms. Flt. for two reasons; firstly its a short journey, secondly because the BBJs have built in ECM and Jamming abilities.

The Taliban-Northern Alliance war was a proxy war between Pakistan and India. It's one of those open secrets.

The weird part is that, after the Soviet withdrawal, Northern Alliance first approached Pakistan, but were rebuffed, and then they went to India. Pakistan could have helped negotiate peace between the various groups. Opportunity lost.

Eh?! I thought they invited the Soviets to fight against the religious fanatics. And you remember something? It was US-NATO that supported you against the Soviets....this time you stand alone. And any expectations of help from China in this issue is futile.
