PM Khan To Offer New Projects Worth $60 Billion To China As Part Of CPEC: Minister Makhdum Khusro
Pakistan to engage China at the highest level for talks on several big projects in the fields of hydropower, oil refinery and steel mills.

Prime Minister Imran Khan to leave for China today on a three-day visit. During his visit, PM would also discuss the success of CPEC and will offer to add more projects under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor says, federal minister Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar.
Projects worth billions
He further added that several major projects under the areas of hydro-power, oil refinery and steel mills worth of $60 billion would be added in CPEC.

“All the existing projects under the CPEC portfolio have been streamlined and there is no slowdown anywhere,” the minister said in his opening statement.
He further said, “In particular, about 4,300MW of energy projects are currently under construction and additional 2,500MW projects are in the planning phase”.
Expressing his high hopes for the new ventures of CPEC federal Minister further said, “There will be meaningful engagement on all aspects of Pakistan-China relations during the visit”.
PM Imran Khan during his meetings with the president and prime minister of China would talk about different projects and technical discussions that will further be held during later this month and then further during the JCC meeting.
While talking about the Gwadar master plan, 10 Chinese companies have already signed up for investing in Gwadar says, minister.
Refuting all the false information about the slowing down of CPEC Chinese ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing said on 30 September, “there was no slowdown of the CPEC projects and the two countries have identified three key areas to promote the initiative as it entered a new phase”.
