The Pakistani establishment as well as the deep state understand that the international world order is in the process of a significant change. Usually they are asleep at the wheel and have a 'wait-and-see' approach but this time stakes are just too damn high. Things are too serious internationally and internally to allow treacherous scum like Nawaz Sharif and Zardari etc near any form of power.

Another NRO will seriously undermine the confidence that the rank and file have in their leadership. There would be a 100 Mumtaz Qadris out there if the scum like Nawaz Sharif + Zardari + co are given an NRO.

The Pakistani state needs to tread this area carefully. There is a storm brewing and it will hit the shores soon. I hope they are not fooled this time.

Coming to 2019, our patriotic and honest PM, Imran Khan, a person whole world admires and respect, known for his honesty and determination...He is continuously sending message to establishment/army........He is saying like;

Guys, why do you think, why Imran is continuously talking about NRO? Does he feel that some people sitting somewhere in Rawalpindi are trying to protect corrupt assholes? Does he feel that Army is trying to protect and give safe passage to Nawaz/Shahbaz and Zardari? Does he feel that there is some backdoor deal going on, possibly?

We know how our country was raped by corrupt assholes...We should not and will not allow this again.

Its not a moral stand on which IMRAN is taking stand now, its more of fear of unknown which is huanting him because he knows if establishment can bring him in power and kick nawaz out of power then they can do anything whenever the time comes?

Establishment (read army) is not doing anything to destabilize the country. Its the politicians. They are at the higher pecking order because they get elected and they create examples of leadership. When 'establishment', judiciary and bureaucracy assert power, its because the vacuum left by politicians in governance and ruling. That vacuum can only be filled some powerful body.

There are certain rules of statecraft which Pakistanis dont understand either through naivety or not wanting to evolve their thinking.

Imran would have been pawn of establishment if he was Nawaz Sharif. He did not reach compromises with powerful quarters inside and outside the country like Nawaz does to get to power. He led a people's struggle for 22 years. He would have been easily PM under Musharraf. He took a higher moral ground.

These are things paindu minds enamored of Nawaz Sharif 'development model' wont understand. Nawaz and his brother took 10 Rupees out of your pocket and gave you back 2 rupees from that money. The other 8 went to their offshore companies and properties around the world. This is why you and your nation in debt and Sharif family is billionaire. Things you will just never or want to understand!

According to some people on sm, a deal is in process and silence of NS and Maryum is due to a mutual agreement between PMLN and a powerful institution. NS had agreed to pay $5 billion and his bail along Maryum was granted by Islamabad High Court but later, his sons asked not to pay a single penny more than $2 billion and NS was sent behind the bars again in another case, and Hamza Shahbaz was stopped by FIA to fly out of country.
And then the narrative changed all of a sudden from accountability of corrupt politicians to PAC chairmanship, and I think a deal is given with NS in hospital, SS as Chairman PAC and Hamza Shahbaz in London to get the looted money back(may be not).
Sooner or later, a bail will be granted to NS on medical grounds and he will be in London to spend his rest of life without getting involved in Pakistani politics.

Well. If they are willing give back all the money they stole, admit publicly they stole the money then a compromise can be reached. It wont be deal but law allows this anywhere in the world, if its not manslaughter.

Think about it! If this swine is willing to give $5 billion, how much he wealth he has! This is just the starting offer if this news is true.

Absolutely incorrect. General Musharrraf used the NRO as a ploy to save his own skin. He signed it, and not the people of Pakistan. Blaming it on the people again will be dishonest.
