thanks guyz,

spoke to my dad twice and both times he started crying like his father has died today. He was so close to us that we always considered him to be part of our family. Any formal or informal event took place in our family... he was always there to support us. He was occasionally my dad's business partner in different 'lucrative' projects since past 25 years and there had been a lot of moments in our lives when he helped us financially and by all means.

My dad knew he is a man who least care about money and honor relationships a lot. Would you believe he used to lend us crore rupees worth of amount just for the sake of friendship. There had been many moments when he helped us by lending 40-50 lakh rupees and once in our difficult times we had to sell one of our property worth 1 crore rupee and he proposed a desire to buy that property. He paid us the amount in cash and never bothered us to transfer the ownership on his name. Its been 10 years since we had sold that property to him but still it was on my dad's name for all his life. Last week when my dad knew he is in his last day - he immediately transfered the ownership on his name to just relieve him that he was not going to keep that property forever. There had been some occasions when my dad offered him to transfer the ownership but he was always least interested. The trust between my dad and in his was indescribable.

He was a billionaire in terms of rupees, had worked in the shipping company in USA at a very respectable position but after moving back to Pakistan he always lived a very simple life. I have never seen him riding anything but the bicycle if he was to travel within the city. If you see his clothes, way of life... you would feel as he was just a common middle class Pakistani but if you work under him you would feel he was so mature in business dealing that many well educated persons would take him as idol.

Still can't believe he is dead now, last time he promised me to take to his ancestor's village to which he pays huge respect but unfortunately all the roads surrounding that village were under construction and it was quite difficult to travel so he promised when i come back to Pakistan next time, he will take me along. Unfortunately that won't be happening next time but that is true he would always remain in my memories.

Someone very close to me. Perhaps next only to my parents died today. I am still in shock since morning and can't say anything for now.

He died in the morning and the funeral just held a little while ago. He lives in Pakistan and I have been raised up in his hands

He was more than just a family friend... perhaps next only to my father

Zaki

May God Bless his soul and rest in peace!

.
My heartfelt condolence with you and all his near and dear ones.
