PLA would lose 40% of its fleet to sink a US carrier

No, it is YOU who is making things up to make the US look stronger than it really is.

If we take your logic to it's extreme, the US could just get rid of aircraft carriers altogether and rely on tankers and launch fighters from bases in the US to fight anywhere in the world.

Like it or not the DF-21D will make US think twice about getting involved in Chinese affairs.

It is just one of many weapons that China has to fight against the US Navy, the others being anti-ship missiles launched from aircraft, ships and submarines and torpedoes from SSNs under the ocean.

The US is still the strongest Navy in the world by a large margin but that does not mean that the US can fight against China on it's home turf with impunity.

So, 2 post, you still can't come up with a anti-tactics for the combine fighter tanker launch out of range.

You are nothing but like a wimping dog barking in the corner

Until you come up with a tactic to destroy or disrupt the carrier operation operate OUTSIDE Chinese missile defence range

I will not reply anything from you, you are free to bark all you want, without finding a true solution, that is ALL you can do

Wooph Wooph

Forget the PLA, even the US military has said it's deployed. The DF-21D has been tested and 100% proven. The US is far too scared to admit the test because of total embarrassment as they have absolutely nothing to counter it. That's assuming the US can even track the missile which is debatable.

And yes, our ASAT weapons can take down US satellites in low, medium and high earth orbit. We also have the ability to blind US satellites which makes the theory that the US can use its sats in a war against China even more laughable. SM-3 missiles have not even been proven against advanced Chinese missiles and certainly not in a worse case scenario where dozens of missiles are fired. They certainly don't have the ability to intercept the DF-21D. Never have and never will. That's why the US is petrified about the DF-21D missile. They are full panic mode running around like headless chicken. You don't get scared about a weapon that's not deployed and have the ability to counter. The US reaction alone is a give away to know the DF-21D has been tested and deployed and the US has nothing to counter it. That's why the Pentagon spokesman refused to discuss anything related to the DF-21D. The US is utterly helpless.

So our ASAT weapons (KKV and lasers) and our DF-21D is enough to make the American Navy experience defeat at the hands of China which means it will be the 3rd military defeat at the hands of the PLA.

Spend soooooo much and boast soooo much and still can't achieve strategic victory against us. Must sting the ego huh?

We kicked the US military out of North Korea. We were armed with sticks and stones and we still were able to kick US forces out of North Korea. All that military spending and advanced weapons mounted to nothing. At the start of China's entry to the war, North Korea was under American control and by the end of the war, North Korea was out of American control.

Strategic victory for mighty China :china:

Strategic victory for the U.S. with South Korea still in existence and not unified under North Korean control backed by China.

@gambit - a question - if DF-21D is launched by China, would it be construed as a first strike under MAD?
Experts warn of an accidental atomic war / Nuclear missile modified for conventional attack on Iran could set off alarm in Russia - SFGate
Heres something Putin from Russia said,

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that the project would increase the danger of accidental nuclear war.

2006-10-06 04:00:00 PDT Washington -- A Pentagon project to modify its deadliest nuclear missile for use as a conventional weapon against targets such as North Korea and Iran could unwittingly spark an atomic war, two weapons experts warned Thursday.

Russian military officers might misconstrue a submarine-launched conventional D5 intercontinental ballistic missile and conclude that Russia is under nuclear attack, said Ted Postol, a physicist and professor of science, technology and national security policy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Pavel Podvig, a physicist and weapons specialist at Stanford.

"Any launch of a long-range nonnuclear armed sea or land ballistic missile will cause an automated alert of the Russian early warning system," Postol told reporters.

The triggering of an alert wouldn't necessarily precipitate a retaliatory hail of Russian nuclear missiles, Postol said. Nevertheless, he said, "there can be no doubt that such an alert will greatly increase the chances of a nuclear accident involving strategic nuclear forces."

"The media and expert circles are already discussing plans to use intercontinental ballistic missiles to carry nonnuclear warheads," he said in May. "The launch of such a missile could ... provoke a full-scale counterattack using strategic nuclear forces."

Accidental nuclear war is not so far-fetched. In 1995, Russia initially interpreted the launch of a Norwegian scientific rocket as the onset of a U.S. nuclear attack. Then-President Boris Yeltsin activated his "nuclear briefcase" in the first stages of preparation to launch a retaliatory strike before the mistake was discovered.

The United States and Russia have acknowledged the possibility that Russia's equipment might mistakenly conclude the United States was attacking with nuclear missiles.

Indeed. Decades after the Korean war, US supported a military dictatorship in South Korea which ensured the success of its economy.

And the U.S. early warning system instantly distinguishes missle with a satellite from a nuclear missile? Ha-ha.
I am sure that you have had such an errors too.

I don't think the vietnamese economy/tech is advanced enough to produce such kind of dildo.

Why don't you just admit it: you are just a low IQ vietnamese monkey?
@Zakii @Oscar - please make note of this despicable post against an esteemed member.

No, you are the one who can't even understand what is coming out of your mouth. See the terms 'increase' and 'accidental' in your reply above. Having sex can increase the danger of heart attack, so are you worried? This thread is clearly about the strategic responses that can arise from both sides, it is better to focus on that.

The US can of course make decisions on imaginary illusions, like what they did for Iraq, the differences here presented to the dude sitting in front of that magic button is pretty simple: JL-2/DF-31/DF-41 based 2nd strike can make sure your children and grandchildren don't see a very bright future, as there will be no future for them, so as a decision maker to launch trident missiles, are you 100% sure?

Dude: China is not Iraq, China is not Iran, China is not USSR.

来这里玩文字游戏,你根本不够资格,你连中文也不会,根本甚至不能明白我说什么,可我确能用你的母语质疑你,你不觉得彼此玩文字游戏的差距太大,不适合玩吗?

Accepted by world .....

Other than chinese (who have memory loss about 67 and 87) nobody cares about 62 .

As there is no surprise for them: China knocked out a backward dirty highly corrupted india, how surprise is that?

Dude, we are in a competition, everyday. the gap between we two nations is widening daily. better to focus on your **** at home

Come on, in America is not less mess.
Recently read that they hung bomb with nuclear warheads instead of the maquette and the aircraft flew for several hours over America and then found out that there was a bomb.
More recently fired one of the top commanders of the SNF for gambling.
A more recent inspection personnel of silo based missiles revealed gross incompetence.
It's just that I remember I heard about American nuclear forces for recently times.

Not only that if you ask North korians in private they would say ,,wish they were under US looking at South koria now.

Ever see the night time satellite pics of North and South Korea ? North is one big blackout.
