PLA now called the Chinese Army

The PLA is the Chinese Army, it's just a matter of semantics here.

According to International law (as set by the UN), the PRC is the sole representative of China.

And the PLA is our Army.

This is true the so called true chinese army could not stop the peoples revolution even with all the aid and weapons from the western powers.

Doesn't sound as good as Chinese People's Army. All the other Asian socialist countries and East Germany used _____ People's Army.

So should the wiki articles for the PLA etc. be changed? I think in english it will be still called PLA.

Its a good decision. They are not liberating their people any more. The days of revolution are long gone and now they are striving for harmony. So the names must reflect it.

PLA have a glorious history. The name conjurs a a sense of pride and humility from an era when peasants with hand-me-down rifles fought the best of the western world to a standstill.
