Who said they don't move and doing a Joint Exercise with their Air Force.
From Satellite observation, they already move many of their Combat Aircraft to Tibet and other Western Region.

But yeah, they are not typical to bring reporters inside their cockpit while exercise.

And its not good too, bring and open all your card on the table. They definetly hold their ace card for worst condition.

They are master of 'Art of war' anyway

Realistically you can never see air and ground forces in the same photo. When you do it's a photo op.
