PLA Delegation Visits Landikotal
LANDIKOTL, Oct 28 (APP): An eleven-member Chinese Army delegation headed by Maj. Gen Yaang Hui Thursday visited Landikotal and had a briefing with Pak Army officials at Mechani here, official sources informed.
Upon arrival the delegation was warmly welcomed by Khyber Rifles' Lt. Col Khursheed and other military and civil officials.
The delegation was later given a briefing at Mechani by Maj. Kashif of FC Rifles on the significance of geographical and historical position of the area. High-ups of Frontier Corps and Political Authorities were present in the briefing. Strict security measures were put in place during the stay of delegation.
The Chinese delegation also had a detailed view of Pak-Afghan border from Mechani Point.
