Pirates hijacked a vessel near India without India knowing

hail the mighty indian navy the ruler of IOR.How can it detect pirates when it couldnt detect the 26/11 infiltraion.Truly a world class navy which sinks thailand boat and claims it to be pirates' boat.truly mightiest navy of the world.

Indeed it is, might not be for the Anti Indians , But to the world India is.... Indian Navy has bagged the International maritime agency award for foiling most number of Piracy attempts and Escorting over 700 Vessels to safety......

.
The fact that Chinese ships moved into the area without anyone knowing shows that the Indian Ocean is very hard to patrol.

Nope. It is just India who doesn't have the technology to watch the Ocean near her coastline. Uncle SAM has tons of satellites that can watch everything that moves across any place at any time.

Was the truth too hard to swallow ???

where is truth??? U mean the one which happend 880 miles away from our country??
According to United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) after 12-14 miles away from coastline the International waters Starts.... and U are talking about the failure of Indian navy for an Incident happened 880 miles away from the nearest indian coast...

some people hired only to post anti-indian articles..so they don't think any thing before posting...:hitwall::hitwall:

880kilometers is not near India. That is way out in international waters. Unless ships are actually somewhat in the area i do not believe you would be able to stop or catch the hijackers.

I see double standard here :

.

When India failed to detect an incident that happened near her country

True. But its still better than Pakistani Army launching campaigns with in your territory to clear TTP

Indians here claim that it happened "far away" from India but when Chinese ships pass through the Indian Ocean far away from the Indian Mainland then Indians claim that China has ventured into "Indian Territory"

That is how big powers respond to threats. we would get the same kind of reaction if we venture into South china sea. People from smaller countries may not understand it.

I suggest you do some research about the Thailand boat incident. The boat was hijacked by the pirates and they were using it as their mother boat.Regarding 26/11 it is not possible for the navy to stop and check each and every boat.Only if there is specific and strong intelligence can such a measure be taken.

The Indian navy gets trained to take out enemy ports like we did during 1971 war. So, yeah we are the rulers of IOR. Navys in this region may not be able to challenge Indian navy in the foreseeable future.
