‘Pilipino coast guards laughed while firing’

Answer is quite simple:

~When a dog wishes to become a top dog, in its opinion it view all others as its same kind.
~Dogs always bark, esp mad ones.
~When a dog's master reduce the ration of the dog, the dog will think that its master is falling, and try to find another master.
~A dog never looks into the mirror, however, it does enjoy sticking a feather duster into its own behind, and instantly it will think that it has became a wolf.

The truth is that none of those pro-USAers have either. Based on your opinion, they are all dogs.

Useless you say, don't care you say. So those islands suddenly become not important then. Then why everyone expecially you people are keep making noises.
The fact is China is taking back the islands it claims and the Phil can do nothing, just like the old news of your fisherman being killed. There is nothing you both can do, nobody care about you and that was a really case of "who cares?". And you are calling people coward and idiot. Have you ever looked at the mirror.

And they are all dogs and cowards, according to your point of view.
Having the guts right. Well China have the guts to kill your fisherman too according to your news. Surely China will have a much better future then.
Yeah yeah the USA is falling, just like what those 0.5 have been saying for years.

Bah bah bah bah.

For them is more like Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....wow wow wow grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......

Not as pathetic as banana filipine sending huge number of women oversea to work as maid, a nation that depends on their women to feed them hahahaha one of its kind in the world so unique:rofl:

This is much of a lesser degree than Chinese syndicates sending illegal Chinese immigrants to Europe, with their b*tts and every cavity stuffed with cocaine, also called drugmules. They're packed in crates like canned sardines and sent to Europe to steal a European college kid's hope of getting a part-time job to pay tuition fees.

True Story. Believe me.

Sorry for being off-topic: I actually own a bunch of dogs, but this is certainly not true. : )

A dog never replaces any master for failure of nourishing it. Even how many times you hit this poor creature, if underfed, if sick or being left out, a dog will always be by your side and protect you.

The same bond I see between Uncle Sam and PH. These two have a long, bloody history of wars in the early 1900's, casualties were high. But when a common threat came in WWII, both fought hard for freedom.

Now, let's go to the Cat.
Chinese International Policies is like a Cat. It lays on it's back exposing it's belly seemingly displaying innocence and affection, but if you put your hand in to caress, those murderous, deathly-sharp claws will stab any human body part touching it.

Don't feed a cat for weeks, it will run away and find any newer host to plot it's murder schemes.

This is very interesting.

I have just looked at the IMF April 2013 database and can see that the Philippines economy is set to grow 5-6% a year over the next 5 years and it's GDP will rise from 284 billion dollars to 450 billion dollars.

Seems like the US may wish to use Philippines as a good base to counter China going forward.
GDP can only expand up to a point if the economy of a particular country only has basic domestic services, agriculture, and little manufacturing. The pie of your economy won't expand if you have little to no manufacturing industries (let alone hi-tech manufacturing). Think about a economy that has services and agriculture only vs another economy with services, agriculture + industries like automobile, electronic, shipbuilding

Unless the U.S is willing to transfer major industrial manufacturing technologies to the PH like they did with South Korea, there is little chance that the economy of the PH will change from the current situation. Declassified information reveals that the U.S's policy after WW2 is to keep the PH as a backwater country to supply raw materials to Japan only; the U.S has no interest to help turn the PH into an industrialized nation.

Look at the 2005 Iraq hostage crisis and you see that the PH and Thailand thought of the U.S as nothing and withdrew their troops from Iraq at will while South Korea and Japan could not say no. Both PH and Thailand do not receive the benefits from the U.S like South Korea and Japan have

I stand with our PCG. They should be commended and promoted. They did a great job out there. A thief is always a thief. Too sad Mr.Hung was shot by accident because of their folly. Tell the Taiwanese and send a clear message , DO NOT POACH INSIDE PHILIPPINE EEZ OR BE SHOT.

NBI: Philippine coast guards liable

The National Bureau of Investigation has recommended the filing of criminal charges against the Filipino coast guards involved in the shooting death of a Taiwanese fisherman in northern Philippine waters last month, the Inquirer learned on Tuesday.

A source, who has knowledge of the investigation of the incident but asked not to be identified because he has no authority to speak on the matter, declined to say whether murder or homicide charges had been recommended.

But the source said there was a debate on whether to bring murder charges against the coast guards, as “superior strength” was used “against an unarmed civilian,” or homicide, as the shooting death of fisherman Hung Shih-chen was “not premeditated.”

The source said the NBI report on the investigation of Hung’s death had been submitted to Justice Secretary Leila de Lima.

“It is a thin report, because the annexes have yet to be forwarded to [Secretary De Lima],” the source said.

The report, according to the source, includes the identities of the coast guards who fired their rifles at Hung’s fishing boat in waters off Balintang Island on May 9.

Shooter identified

It also contains the identity of the coast guard who fired the bullet that killed Hung, the source said.

The shooter was identified through a cross-match between the slug recovered from Hung’s body during autopsy and the signature of the coast guard’s M14 rifle.

The shooting happened in Philippine waters, as the Philippine Coast Guard stated in its report on the incident submitted to the NBI, the source said.

The source said the incident took place within 79.2 kilometers of Philippine territory and 316.8 km from Taiwanese territory.

No attempt to ram

But the Coast Guard’s claim that the fishing boat Guan Ta Hsin 28 tried to ram the coastal patrol vessel MCS-3001 was disproved, the source said.

The Coast Guard claimed that the fishing boat’s hostile move was the reason for its officers’ firing at the vessel, aiming for the engine to make it stop.

But the NBI report says the results of the ballistic tests and trajectory examination on the fishing boat showed the shooters did not know where the engine was, the source said.

Diplomatic row

Hung’s family has brought murder charges against the Philippine Coast Guard in Pingtung County District Attorney’s Office in southern Taiwan and with the NBI team of investigators who traveled there last month for the Philippine probe of Hung’s death.

The shooting death of the fisherman sparked a major diplomatic row between Taiwan and the Philippines.

Taiwan demanded an official apology from the Philippine government, compensation for Hung’s family and punishment for the shooters.

To pressure the Philippines into complying, Taiwan froze new jobs in Taiwan for Filipino migrant workers and suspended tourist travel to the Philippines and trade and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

President Aquino apologized for the shooting death of Hung, but Taiwan rejected his apology because of his description of the killing as “unintended” and an “unfortunate loss of life.”

Cooperate

The two countries, however, agreed to cooperate in the investigation of Hung’s death.
A team of Taiwanese investigators traveled to Manila to examine the coast guards’ weapons, interview them, and see their own video of the chase between their vessel and Hung’s fishing boat.

An NBI team traveled to Taiwan, examined Hung’s boat, interviewed its crew, and studied the Taiwanese coroner’s autopsy report.

The two teams agreed to release their findings separately.

Look to me like the Filipino like to lie. They do this even when it is obvious that they would get found out. Their altitude is when the lie doesn't work anymore, they would change story and move to another set of excuses. Don't they understand that this is not an acceptable way to behave in international arena.

Can you clear that up

It is obvious that the Philippine coast guard lied about the ramming and shooting at the engine. And your presidential office spokesperson announced the lie to the world without bother to do a good thorough checking. How are anyone going to believe what the spokesperson say next time?

But don't forget that if they didn't poached in Philippines water most probably, the guy still alive today. Or even if they 'accidentally' poached and they were caught and tried to arrest by our PCG, they should have submit their boat for inspection instead of running away. Why would they run away? If they were slap by heavy fines by our PCG, (not sure if they were allowed to collect fines though) they should ask for OR, or let the PCG tow away their boat and pay the fines with the collecting officer onshore.
