Pictures of some Chinese cities' BRT system

Zhengzhou, nice. I would love to visit there one day. :woot:

As for me, I am a HK Cantonese of Hakka descent.

Yeah, Henan's capital. Welcome!

Hakka immigrates from North China to Canton? As an old ethnic group, Hakka people has a broad influence across the world.

I visited HK for a few days last year. I transferred my flight there. Very impressive place, especially the food, shopping, I took lots of pictures.:laughcry:

Yes Hakka originated from the Central Plains of China (Zhongyuan), from somewhere around Henan I think. :D

But my family were one of the very first to come to Hong Kong when it was first settled hundreds of years ago, so we are considered native/indigenous to Hong Kong.

I would love to move to the mainland one day though, because the weather in HK is far too hot and humid.

Does Pakistani engineers have enough will and knowledge to develop similar type of Articulated BRT Buses with Hybrid Diesel Electric buses...

Hundreds years ago? You family has a long history, maybe there is a genealogy(家谱) handed down to you.

As a big metropolis, HK has a rapid living style, if you want to change a different life style, there are many choices, such as Xiamen, a very modern and clean city.

I heard Pakistan government planned a 80 million BRT system in Islamabad, that's good news! Big investment!

Shanghai’s 1st BRT system, measuring 33.5km in length and starting from the Oriental Sports Centre in the north and ending at Nanqiao New Town in the south, has just passed the “drawing board“ stage:

I have to live in a big city, growing up in HK I am too used to big cities now. :woot:

I've been impressed by all the cities I have visited in the mainland so far.

My dream is to move to the mainland when I am older, preferably to somewhere up North with nicer weather. Maybe somewhere with a strong connection to Chinese history.

Very detailed plan. Shanghai's public transportation is ahead of most cities in China.

If you want a good weather and north place, you can go to Qingdao, a north and coastal city in Shandong, also the biggest city. Shanghai and Suzhou are good choice too. :laughcry:

I've been to Shenzhen, the weather in winter is wet-cold, while in north China, the weather is dry-cold. The strong wind in winter is like a sharp knife cutting across one's face...You should make fully preparation.

Wow superb development by Chinese government. No where less than US.

US, as an automobile dominate society, buses and some railways are not the main transport tool, at least in Texas it's true.

U.S ? Transportation there is rubbish. I must the East Asian countries, specifically China, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea dominate

China government especially concentrate on railway and highway constructions. Even there is a Ministry of Railways under State Coucil...

Yes. Public transport sucks in US, (where I live). Buses are on time but there are not many.
